The 2022 Adriatica Ionica Race/Sulle Rotte della Serenissima was a road cycling stage race that took place between 4 and 8 June 2022 in the northeastern Italy. [1] It was the fourth edition of the Adriatica Ionica Race and a category 2.1 event on the 2022 UCI Europe Tour. [2] The race was won by Filippo Zana who didn't win a stage but finished second in two decisive stages. [3]

Teams

One UCI WorldTeam, six UCI ProTeams, nine UCI Continental teams, and one national team made up the seventeen teams that participated in the race. [4] [5] With six riders each, Giotti Victoria–Savini Due and Team Qhubeka were the only teams to not enter a full squad of seven riders. [6]

The favorites for the overall race victory included; Lorenzo Fortunato ( Eolo–Kometa ), Sebastián Henao ( Astana Qazaqstan Team ), Santiago Umba ( Drone Hopper–Androni Giocattoli ), Christian Scaroni ( Italy ), Nicholas Dlamini ( Team Qhubeka ), Davide Rebellin ( Work Service–Vitalcare–Vega ), Henok Mulubrhan and Filippo Zana ( Bardiani–CSF–Faizanè ). The 2021 Adriatica Ionica Race/Sulle Rotte della Serenissima was a road cycling stage race that took place between 15 and 17 June 2021 in the northeastern Italy. It was the third edition of the Adriatica Ionica Race and a category 2.1 event on the 2021 UCI Europe Tour.

The 2022 Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali was a road cycling stage race that took place between 22 and 26 March 2022 in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna and in San Marino. The race was rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2022 UCI Europe Tour calendar, and was the 37th edition of the Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali.
