The 2022 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League season was the 2022 edition of the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. It started on 2 March 2022. [2]
A total of 14 teams will contest the league with a relegation system. Ten teams from 2020 season, one team relegated from A-Division and three teams promoted from C-Division will participate in the league. Saraswati Youth Club was relegated from 2019–20 season, while Church Boys, Birgunj United Club and Samajik Yuwa Club were promoted from 2021 season. [3]

On 23 March 2022, after losing against Bansbari Club, officials of Shree Bhagawati attacked referee Suman Shrestha. [12] The following day, All Nepal Football Association sanctioned Shree Bhagawati Club coach Sailesh Karmacharya by banning him for three games. The club was also fined NPR 50,000. [8]
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is the governing body of football in Nepal. It is responsible for the national team as well as club competitions. The organisation was founded in 1951 as the All Nepal Football Association and became affiliated with FIFA in 1972. The current President of ANFA is Pankaj Bikram Nembang. Its current headquarters is located in the ANFA House in ANFA Complex, Satdobato.
Friends Club is a Nepali professional football club from the Kopundole neighborhood of Lalitpur. The club is known for nurturing young talent of Nepalese Football. Friends Club has produced more than 200 national football players to date. Madhyapur Youth Association is a Nepali association football club based in Thimi, Bhaktapur. The club plays in the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. It was founded in 2064 B.S. by former national goalkeeper Upendra Man Singh In 2012, the team became the first club from Bhaktapur to reach the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League but got relegated in the same season.

The 2023 Nepal Super League was the second season of the Nepal Super League, the top flight franchise based club football league of Nepal. A total of nine franchises participated in the tournament played at the Dasharath Rangasala from 24 November to 30 December 2023. Kathmandu Rayzrs won the inaugural season after beating Dhangadhi FC in the final on 15 May 2021. In addition to the seven founding members, three new franchises were added. Jhapa FC represented Jhapa, Sporting Ilam De Mechi FC Ilam, and Birgunj United FC Birgunj. One of the founding members, Biratnagar City, decided to withdraw from the tournament resulting in only nine teams participating in this edition.
