The 2022 Mount Olive Trojans men's volleyball team represents Mount Olive College in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Trojans, led by third year head coach Ali'i Keohohou, [1] were picked to win the Conference Carolinas title in the coaches preseason poll, [2] and they will host the 2022 Conference Carolinas men's volleyball tournament. [3]

Conference Carolinas, formerly known as the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference (CVAC) or the Carolinas Conference, is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) primarily at the Division II level. It is also considered as one of the seven Division I conferences for men's volleyball. Originally formed in 1930, the league reached its modern incarnation in 1994. Member institutions are located in the southeastern United States in the states of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The Conference Carolinas membership currently consists of 14 small colleges or universities, 12 private and two public.
The 2020 BYU Cougars men's volleyball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2020 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Cougars, led by fifth year head coach Shawn Olmstead, played their home games at Smith Fieldhouse. The Cougars are members of the MPSF and were picked to win the MPSF in the preseason poll. On March 12 the NCAA, BYU, and the MPSF shutdown the remainder of the season due to COVID-19, leaving BYU to end the season ranked #1 and undefeated in conference play.
The 2020–21 BYU Cougars women's basketball team represents Brigham Young University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. It is head coach Jeff Judkins's twentieth season at BYU. The Cougars, members of the West Coast Conference, play their home games at the Marriott Center.
The 2021 Conference Carolinas men's volleyball tournament is the men's volleyball tournament for Conference Carolinas during the 2021 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It will be held April 8 through April 18, 2021. First Round and Quarterfinal matches will be held at campus sites while the semifinals and championship will be held at Student Center Complex in Bristol, Tennessee. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
The 2021 BYU Cougars women's volleyball team represents Brigham Young University in the 2021 NCAA Division I women's volleyball season. The Cougars are led by seventh year head coach Heather Olmstead and play their home games at the Smith Fieldhouse. The Cougars are members of the WCC.
The 2022 BYU Cougars men's volleyball team represents Brigham Young University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Cougars, led by seventh year head coach Shawn Olmstead, play their home games at Smith Fieldhouse. The Cougars are members of the MPSF and were picked to finish third in the MPSF preseason poll. After finishing last season ranked #2 the Cougars enter the 2022 season with the #6 ranking.
The 2022 Grand Canyon Antelopes men's volleyball team represented Grand Canyon University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The 'Lopes, led by seventh year head coach Matt Werle, played their home games at GCU Arena. The 'Lopes were members of the MPSF and were picked to finish fourth in the MPSF preseason poll. The Lopes finished fourth in the MPSF but fell in the 1st Round of the MPSF Tournament to Stanford.
The 2022 UCLA men's volleyball team represented University of California, Los Angeles in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Bruins, led by tenth year head coach John Speraw, played their home games at Pauley Pavilion when basketball did not conflict with the home game schedule and at John Wooden Center when basketball conflicted with the home game schedule. The Bruins were members of the MPSF and were picked to finish second in the MPSF preseason poll. UCLA hosted the MPSF tournament and also the 2022 NCAA Championship at Pauley Pavilion. The 2022 NCAA Championship began on May 1 with an opening round match.
The 2022 Concordia Eagles men's volleyball team represented Concordia University Irvine in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Eagles, led by first year head coach Riley Salmon, played their home games at CU Arena. The Eagles were members of the MPSF and were picked to finish seventh in the MPSF preseason poll. The Eagles tied with BYU for the worst in the league, but due to BYU winning the tiebreaker Concordia finished seventh and fell to USC in the MPSF Tournament 1st Round.
The 2022 Ball State Cardinals men's volleyball team represents Ball State University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Cardinals, led by 1st year head coach Donan Cruz, play their home games at Worthen Arena. The Cardinals are members of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association and were picked to finish fourth in the MIVA in the preseason poll.
The 2022 Conference Carolinas men's volleyball tournament is the men's volleyball tournament for Conference Carolinas during the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It will be held April 13 through April 23, 2022. First Round and Quarterfinal matches will be held at campus sites while the semifinals and championship will be held at Kornegay Arena in Mount Olive, North Carolina. The 2023 Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's volleyball team, the second Fairleigh Dickinson men's volleyball team, represents Fairleigh Dickinson University in the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Knights, led by second year head coach Karl France, play their home games at Rothman Center. The Knights compete as a member of the newly created Northeast Conference men's volleyball conference. The Knights were picked to finish sixth in the NEC pre-season poll.
The 2023 Lewis Flyers men's volleyball team represents Lewis University in the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Flyers, led by nineteenth year head coach Dan Friend, play their home games at Neil Carey Arena. The Flyers are members of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association and were picked to finish fourth the MIVA in the preseason poll.
