The 2022 Northeast Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Northeast Conference held from October 30 to November 6, 2022. The three-match tournament took place at the higher seeded team in each match-up. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils. [1] Central Connecticut State was unable to defend their title, losing to the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights 2–1 in the Semifinal. Fairleigh Dickinson went on to win the tournament over Sacred Heart in penalties in the Final. [2] This was the second Northeast Conference tournament title for the Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer program, both of which have come under the direction of head coach Eric Teepe. [3] As tournament champions, Fairleigh Dickinson earned the Northeast Conference's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
The top six teams from regular season play qualified for the 2022 Tournament. Teams were seeded based on their regular season records. Tiebreakers were used to determine seeds if teams were tied on regular season record. No tiebreakers were required as all top six teams finished with unique regular season conference records. Stonehill finished sixth in the standings, but were ineligible for post season competition due to their transition from NCAA D-II to D-I. [4]

The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Teams in the NEC compete in Division I for all sports; football competes in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Participating schools are located principally in the Northeastern United States, from which the conference derives its name.
The 2013 Northeast Conference men's soccer season was the 33rd season of men's varsity soccer in the conference.
The Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament is the conference championship tournament in basketball for the Northeast Conference (NEC). It has been held every year since the NEC was established in the 1981–82 season. The tournament is an eight-team single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The 2020 St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers men's soccer team represent St. Francis College during the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The Terrier's home games are played at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 5. The team has been a member of the Northeast Conference since 1981 and is coached by Tom Giovatto, who was in his fourteenth year at the helm of the Terriers.

Central Connecticut State successfully defended their title, defeating the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights 3–0 in the final. This was the twelfth Northeast Conference tournament title for the Central Connecticut women's soccer program, ten of which have come under the direction of head coach Mick D'Arcy. This was also the fourth straight title for Central Connecticut and Mick D'Arcy. As tournament champions, Central Connecticut earned the Northeast Conference's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The tournament took place on four dates between February 28 and March 8, 2022, with each game hosted by the higher-seeded school. The tournament winner, the Bryant Bulldogs, received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, the first for the Bulldogs. This was also Bryant's final season in the NEC, as the school joined the America East Conference that July.

The Skyhawks, led by tenth-year head coach Chris Kraus, played their home games at Merkert Gymnasium in Easton, Massachusetts, as first-year members of the Northeast Conference.
The 2023 Northeast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Northeast Conference for the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The tournament took place on three dates between March 1, and March 7, 2023, and all tournament games were played on home arenas of the higher-seeded school. The winner, Merrimack, did not receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament due to not being eligible because of a transition from Division II. Instead, the runner-up, Farleigh Dickinson, earned lucky loser status and was awarded the conference's automatic bid.
The 2023 Northeast Conference Women's Basketball Tournament will be the postseason women's basketball tournament for the Northeast Conference for the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The tournament will take place on three dates between March 6, 9 and March 12, 2023, and all tournament games will be played on home arenas of the higher-seeded school. The tournament winner will receive the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
