The prize money for the Women's Series events remained the same from 2021, with each event having a prize fund of £5,000. [1]

The tournament was won by Beau Greaves who won her 7th straight title, and also broke the world record for the highest average in a women's match in her final with Fallon Sherrock , by hitting a 107.86 average in her 5–3 win. The 2022 Lakeside WDF World Championship was the first World Championship organised by the World Darts Federation. The tournament was held at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey, England, which hosted the now-defunct BDO World Darts Championship from 1986 to 2019. The titles were won by Neil Duff in the men's competition, and Beau Greaves in the women's.

Almudena Fajardo Ayuso is a Spanish female professional soft-tip and steel-tip darts player who currently plays in the World Darts Federation (WDF) events. She is a two-time EDU European Darts Champion and first Spanish female player who played in the final of the WDF Europe Cup competition. She was qualified for the 2023 WDF World Darts Championship.

Yukie Sakaguchi is a Japanese professional soft-tip and steel-tip darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Her trademark on the stage is a black necktie. Together with Mikuru Suzuki regularly competes in the PDC Women's Series.

Robyn Byrne is an Irish female professional darts player who currently plays in the World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Her biggest achievement to date was won the Winmau World Masters for girls, won a three gold medals in the WDF Europe Cup Youth and took silver medal in singles competition at the 2018 WDF Europe Cup. She took part in the WDF World Cup and WDF Europe Cup for several times.

Noa-Lynn van Leuven is a Dutch darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. She is the first trans woman to win a PDC event.

The 2024 PDC Women's Series consisted of 24 darts tournaments on the 2024 PDC Pro Tour.
