The 2023 ACC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, from March 7 to 11, 2023. [1] It was the 70th annual edition of the tournament. The Duke Blue Devils won the tournament, their twenty-second ACC Tournament title, receiving the conference's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA tournament. The tournament marked the last game of Jim Boeheim's 47 year coaching career at Syracuse.
All 15 ACC teams participated in the tournament. Teams were seeded by record within the conference, with a tiebreaker system to seed teams with identical conference records.

ACC Network was a syndicated package of college sports telecasts featuring football and basketball events from the Atlantic Coast Conference, produced by Raycom Sports, the sports syndication unit of Montgomery, Alabama-based Raycom Media.
The 2016–17 Syracuse Orange men's basketball team represented Syracuse University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Orange were led by 41st-year head coach Jim Boeheim and played their home games at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. They were fourth-year members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). They finished the season 19–15, 10–8 in ACC play to finish in a three-way tie for seventh place. They lost in the second round of the ACC tournament to Miami (FL). They were one of the last four teams not selected for the NCAA tournament and thus received a No. 1 seed in the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated UNC Greensboro in the first round to advance to the second round where they lost to Ole Miss.
The 2017–18 Syracuse Orange men's basketball team represented Syracuse University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Orange were led by 42nd-year head coach Jim Boeheim and played their home games at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York as fifth-year members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 23–14, 8–10 in ACC play to finish in a tie for tenth place. They defeated Wake Forest in the first round of the 2018 ACC tournament before losing in the second round to North Carolina. They received one of the final four at-large bids to the NCAA tournament where, as a No. 11 seed, they defeated Arizona State in the First Four, and upset No. 6 seed TCU in the First Round and No. 3 seed Michigan State in the Second Round before losing in the Sweet Sixteen to fellow ACC member and No. 2 seed Duke.
The 2018 ACC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York from March 6–10, 2018. It was the 65th annual edition of the tournament, and the second year in a row being held at Barclays Center. The Virginia Cavaliers entered the tournament as the top seed, with a 17–1 conference record under the guidance of Tony Bennett. UVA also began the tournament unanimously ranked number 1 in the country in both major polls.
