The 2023 Milano Seamen season is the first season of the Milano Seamen in the European League of Football for the 2023 season, after playing in the Italian Football League the year prior.
After the announcement of the participation in the 2023 ELF season, the head coach of the previous season in the Italy national league was hired, again. Also, the stadium of the last season, the Velodromo Vigorelli, was confirmed. [1]
The first signing was quarterback Luke Zahradka, native born in the United States, but also being a dual-passport citizen in Italy. He is also starting quarterback of the Italy national team, winning the silver medal in Flag football at the 2022 World Games. [2] Further notable signings were Jéan Constant and Marquise Manning, latter playing for the Washburn Ichabods football team in the NCAA Division II. [3]

Christopher Thomas Ault is a former American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He served three stints at the head football coach at the University of Nevada, Reno, leading the Nevada Wolf Pack to a record of 234–108–1 over 28 seasons and guiding the program from the NCAA's Division II to Division I-AA in 1978 and then to Division I-A in 1992. Ault was also the athletic director at Nevada from 1986 to 2004. He was the school's starting quarterback from 1965 to 1968. In 2001, he led the Big Ten Conference in receptions. In 2004, Braylon Edwards surpassed most of his school records. In high school, Walker set several important New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) football records for receptions and reception yardage. All of these records have since been broken. Walker is remembered for a pair of spectacular one-handed catches during the 2001 NCAA Division I-A football season.
