The 2023 Paris Musketeers season is the inaugural season of the Paris Musketeers team in the European League of Football for the 2023 season.
After the announcement of the long awaited franchise, the front office was presented. It consists of Patrick Butler, CFL Grey Cup winner Jason Johnson and John McKeon, all operating as directors. Further general manager Marc-Angelo Soumah and president Frantzy Dorlean are member of the board. [1]
The head coach of the franchise for the first season will be former Vanderbilt Commodores' defensive secondary coach Marc Mattioli. [2] [3]
The first ever tryout camp of the team was organized on 20 November 2022 with around 240 French and international players in attendance in the Paris La Défense Arena. Shortly after, the first players were announced with French nationals Mamadou Sy and Mamadou Doumbouya, both having their origins from the national league champion La Courneuve Flash. [4] Further building blocks of the roster consists of the first ever franchise quarterback Zach Edwards and wide receiver Kyle Sweet, both coming from the Barcelona Dragons.

The 2009–10 Ligue 1 season was the 72nd since its establishment. Bordeaux were the defending champions. The fixtures were announced on 5 June 2009, and play commenced on 8 August and ended on 15 May 2010. There were three promoted teams from Ligue 2, replacing the three teams that were relegated from Ligue 1 following the 2008–09 season. A total of 20 teams competed in the league with three clubs suffering relegation to the second division, Ligue 2. All clubs that secured Ligue 1 status for this season were subject to approval by the DNCG before becoming eligible to participate. In addition, German sportswear company Puma became the official provider of match balls for the season after agreeing to a long term partnership with the Ligue de Football Professionnel.

The Paris Saint-Germain Academy, commonly known as the PSG Academy, is the youth system of both Paris Saint-Germain and Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (women). Managed by the Association Paris Saint-Germain, the academy was officially established in 1975, but has been developing young talents since the club's foundation in 1970. The academy now has centres in several countries around the world. Likewise, PSG began developing youth players for the women's section in 2012, with the academy officially opening in 2023. Campus PSG in Poissy is currently the training facility and home ground of both sections.
The 2015 Vanderbilt Commodores football team represented Vanderbilt University during the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Commodores played their home games at Vanderbilt Stadium at Dudley Field in Nashville, Tennessee, which has been Vanderbilt football's home stadium since 1922. Derek Mason coached the Commodores for his second year. They are members of the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Commodores finished with a losing record for the second year in a row with an overall record of 4–8 and 2–6 in SEC play.

The Vegas Eternal, formerly the Paris Eternal, is an American professional Overwatch esports team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Eternal compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's West region. Founded in 2018, Paris Eternal began play as an OWL expansion team in 2019 and is one of two professional Overwatch teams based in Europe. The team is owned by Drew McCourt, owner of DM Esports, who also owns Eternal Academy, an academy team for the Eternal that competed in Overwatch Contenders. The team moved to Las Vegas prior to the 2023 season.
The European League of Football (ELF) is a professional American football league. The league consists of 17 teams located in Germany, Poland, Spain, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and France, with plans to expand to 24 teams in 2024. The new league was officially created in November 2020, and kicked off on 19 June 2021.
