The 2023 Frankfurt Galaxy season is the third season of the new Frankfurt Galaxy team in the European League of Football. In the 2023 season the Galaxy plays in the Western Conference.

Preseason

The 2021 champion announced the resigning of starting quarterback Jakeb Sullivan. [1] Shortly after, the franchise re-signed local talent Lorenz Regler for the 2023 season. [2]

    John Thomas O'Sullivan is an American former professional gridiron football quarterback who played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL), two seasons in NFL Europe and one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for UC Davis, where he was a three-year starter and threw for career totals of 10,745 yards and 96 touchdowns. He was named a First-team All-American in 2000 and a Second-team All-American in 2001. He was inducted into the Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.

    Nicholas Gregory Reid is a former American football linebacker who played college football for the Kansas Jayhawks. He signed a free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on May 2, 2006. In February 2007, Reid was re-signed by the Chiefs to a two-year contract. Later that month Reid was assigned by the Chiefs to the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europa.

    Brian Jeffrey Symons is a former American football quarterback. Symons played professionally for the Houston Texans and the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL), the Frankfurt Galaxy and Berlin Thunder in NFL Europe, and the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League (AFL). He was originally drafted by the Texans in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football for Texas Tech where he was a record setting passer. Symons never played in a regular season NFL game.

    Christopher Sanders is a former American football quarterback. He played college football for SMU and Chattanooga. He signed with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League after going undrafted in the 2001 NFL Draft. He primarily played arena football.

    Pat Barnes is a former National Football League (NFL) quarterback. He played from 1997 to 2003 in the NFL, XFL, and CFL.

    Michael Paul Perez is a former American football quarterback. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the seventh round of the 1988 NFL Draft. Perez played college football at San Jose State and has also been a member of the Houston Oilers, Frankfurt Galaxy, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Albany Firebirds, New York CityHawks and New England Sea Wolves.

    Kirk Farmer is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Missouri. He was signed by the St. Louis Rams as an Undrafted free agent in 2003. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Frankfurt Galaxy.
