The 2023 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup is the tenth Aspirants' Cup of the PBA D-League, the official minor league basketball organization owned by the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Each team will play the other teams once in the elimination round. The top two teams advance to the semifinals outright. The next two teams have the twice-to-beat advantage against the next two teams in the quarterfinals. One team is eliminated. Both the semifinals and finals are best-of-three series. [1]
There are seven teams in the tournament, with six college-backed teams, and a team by the Philippine Sports Performance (PSP). An eighth team, from Saint Clare College of Caloocan, withdrew days prior to the opening due to budget issues. [2]

The PBA Commissioner's Cup is a tournament of the Philippine Basketball Association. Along with the PBA Governors' Cup, the tournament is one of the two competitions in a PBA season that allows teams to hire a single foreign player, also known as an "import". The tournament was first held in 1993 as the PBA season's second competition.
The 2009 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Fiesta Conference or known as the 2009 Motolite PBA Fiesta Conference for sponsorship reasons, was the last conference of the 2008-09 PBA season. It started on February 28 and finished on July 17. The tournament was shortened to accommodate the training of the national basketball team for the FIBA Asia Championship 2009 qualifying tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. The last conference had games on Thursdays and Saturdays. The tournament is an import-laden format, which allows an import or a non-Filipino player for each team and with a new height limit of 6-foot-6.
