Denys Petrovych Molchanov is a Ukrainian tennis player competing on the ATP Challenger Tour. He has won two ATP doubles titles. He has also won 15 ITF singles and 66 doubles titles, 36 of them Challengers. On 5 January 2015 he reached his highest ATP singles ranking of World No. 169, whilst his highest doubles ranking of No. 61 was reached on 30 October 2023. Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios defeated Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell in the final, 7–5, 6–4 to win the men's doubles tennis title in an all-Australian final at the 2022 Australian Open. They became the first all-Australian pair to win the title since Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde in 1997, and the first wildcard champions in the Open Era. It marked the first all-Australian final since 1980.

It was the 25th edition of the tournament which was part of the 2023 ATP Challenger Tour and the tenth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2023 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. It took place in Bratislava, Slovakia between 9 and 15 October 2023 for the men and 30 October and 5 November for the women.
