The 2024 Bandodkar Trophy (also known as 2024 Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy) was the 23rd edition of Bandodkar Trophy and the 2nd since its revival, hosted by the Goa Football Association. [1]

Contents

The tournament featured eight clubs, including the Indian Super League, the I-League, the Goa Pro League, and international invitees from the A-League Men and the Argentine Primera División. [2] The matches were broadcast on Sportscast India YouTube channel and FIFA+. [3] [4]

The 2008–09 I-League season began on 26 September 2008 and finished on 16 April 2009 with a break in December for the Federation Cup and Durand Cup. Most games this season were played on Saturday's and Sunday's to attract larger crowds. The Bandodkar Trophy, currently known as the Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy, is an Indian football tournament held in Goa and organized by the Goa Football Association. It was also known the Bandodkar Gold Trophy till the 2016 edition, when the tournament was revamped in a new format. The tournament was first started in 1970.

The 2021–22 Indian Super League playoffs was the eighth playoffs series of the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. The playoffs began on 11 March 2022 and concluded with the final on 20 March in Goa.
