2024 is the 95th season of competitive baseball in the United Kingdom.
This season saw the National Baseball League remain at 6 teams, however, the Herts Falcons and East London Latin Boys were replaced by BC Vetra (who last appeared in the NBL in 2022) and the Bournemouth Bears. [1]
The BBF season was have its opening day on 7 April, with 2 series at the Farnham Park National Baseball & Softball Complex. However, due to rain, the event was cancelled, with the Capitals/Bears series postponed and the Mets/Bruins series moved to the Enfield Playing Fields.

The Salem Red Sox are a Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB), based in Salem, an independent city adjacent to Roanoke, Virginia. The team competes at the Single-A level in the Carolina League. Home games are played at Carilion Clinic Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark, a 6,300-seat facility opened in 1995.

Gerrit Alan Cole is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Houston Astros. Cole played for the baseball team at Orange Lutheran High School and was selected by the Yankees in the first round of the 2008 MLB Draft. Cole opted not to sign and instead attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he played college baseball for the UCLA Bruins.

The Richmond Bluebirds were a minor league baseball team based in Richmond, Virginia. Between 1895 and 1901, the Bluebirds played as members of the Virginia League in 1895 and 1896, Atlantic League from 1897 to 1899, Virginia League in 1900 and Virginia-North Carolina League in 1901. The Bluebirds won league championships in 1895, 1896, 1898 and 1899, all while playing under manager Jake Wells.
The Oswego Netherlands were a minor league baseball team based in Oswego, New York, United States. From 1936 to 1940, the Netherlands played as members of the Class C level Canadian-American League, serving as a minor league affiliate of the Cleveland Indians in 1937 and 1938 and Washington Senators in 1939. The Oswego Netherlands hosted minor league home games at Otis Park. At age 17, Baseball Hall of Fame member Bob Lemon played for the 1938 Oswego Netherlands in his first professional season.
