Hailey Baptiste and Whitney Osuigwe were the defending champions [1] but lost to second seeded British pairing, Emily Appleton and Maia Lumsden in the semifinals.

Appleton and Lumsden went on to win the title, defeating Ariana Arseneault and Mia Kupres 6–2, 4–6, [10–5] in the final. [2] [3] This was Appleton's first WTA 125 title and Lumsden's second.

Maia Lumsden is a British professional tennis player. She has a career-high WTA doubles ranking of world No. 57 achieved on 1 July 2024. Lumsden has won one doubles title on the WTA Challenger Tour as well as three titles in singles and eleven in doubles on the ITF Circuit.

Caroline Dolehide was the defending champion, having won the previous edition in 2019. She lost in the second round to Katrina Scott.

Samantha Stosur and Zhang Shuai defeated Coco Gauff and Caty McNally in the final, 6–3, 3–6, 6–3 to win the women's doubles title at the 2021 US Open. It was Stosur's fourth major title in women's doubles and eighth major overall, as well as Zhang's second major title; this was the team's second major title, following the 2019 Australian Open. This was the first major final for Gauff and for McNally.

Katarzyna Kawa and Magdalena Fręch were the defending champions but Fręch chose not to participate. Kawa partnered alongside Tereza Mihalíková, but they lost in the first round to Emily Appleton and Fernanda Contreras.

Emily Appleton is a British tennis player. She has career-high rankings by the WTA of world No. 348 in singles, achieved on 22 July 2024, and No. 94 in doubles, set on 11 November 2024.

Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Caty McNally and Taylor Townsend in the final, 3–6, 7–5, 6–1 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 US Open. With the win, they became the first women's pair to complete the career Super Slam in doubles. It was their sixth major title together.

This was the first edition of the tournament as a part of the 2023 WTA 125 tournaments.

Maia Lumsden and Jessika Ponchet won the title, defeating Anna Bondár and Kimberley Zimmermann in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–4).

Emina Bektas won the singles title at the 2023 Abierto Tampico, defeating Anna Kalinskaya in the final, 6–3, 3–6, 7–6(7–3).

Lyudmyla Kichenok and Jeļena Ostapenko defeated Kristina Mladenovic and Zhang Shuai in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2024 US Open. It was the first major women's doubles title for both players. They did not drop a set during the tournament. Kichenok and Ostapenko became the first Ukrainian and Latvian player respectively to win the women's doubles title at the US Open. Ostapenko also became the first Latvian to win a major doubles title.

The 2024 Dow Tennis Classic was a professional women's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the thirtieth edition of the tournament and part of the 2024 WTA 125 tournaments. It took place at the Greater Midland Tennis Center in Midland, Michigan, United States between 4 and 10 November 2024.

Anna Kalinskaya was the reigning champion, but did not participate this year.

Weronika Falkowska and Katarzyna Kawa were the reigning champions, but Falkowska chose not to participate and Kawa chose to compete in Midland instead.
