2024 Epson Tour

The 2024 Epson Tour was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2024 in the United States. The Epson Tour is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in the United States and is the "official developmental tour" of the LPGA Tour. It was most recently known as the Symetra Tour.

Changes for 2024

The number of tournaments were reduced from 22 to 19 while total prize money remained at $5 million. Inaugural events were the Atlantic Beach Classic and Otter Creek Championship, while the Black Desert Resort Championship, French Lick Charity Championship, Circling Raven Championship, Inova Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship and Champions Fore Change Invitational were removed from the schedule.

    Race for the Card

    The top 15 under a new points-based Race for the Card at the end of the season, up from 10 in 2023, gained fully exempt cards on the LPGA Tour for the 2025 season. [2] [3]

    The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is an American organization for female golfers. The organization is headquartered at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida, and is best known for running the LPGA Tour, a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite women professional golfers from around the world.

    Professional golf tours are the means by which otherwise unconnected professional golf tournaments are organized into a regular schedule. There are separate tours for men and women; most are based in a specific geographical region, although some tours may hold tournaments in other parts of the world.

    The Women's World Golf Rankings, also known for sponsorship reasons as the Rolex Rankings, were introduced in February 2006.     The Epson Tour, previously known as the LPGA Futures Tour, and known for sponsorship reasons between 2006 and 2010 as the Duramed Futures Tour and between 2012 and 2021 as the Symetra Tour, is the official developmental golf tour of the LPGA Tour. Tour membership is open to professional women golfers and to qualified amateurs.

    The Epson Tour Championship is an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the Epson Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. The event was played at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida from 2008 to 2019, except for 2016. In 2008 and 2009 the tournament was played on the Jones Course. Beginning in 2010, it has been played on the Champions Course. The 2016 event was played at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, Florida due to course conditions at LPGA International caused by Hurricane Matthew. In 2020, the event moved to River Run Country Club in Davidson, North Carolina.

    The 2011 LPGA Tour was a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world that began in Thailand on February 17, 2011, and had its last official event end on November 20, 2011, in Florida. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States–based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).

    Lucy Li is an American professional golfer. She currently holds records as the youngest qualifier for the U.S. Women's Amateur and the U.S. Women's Open, at 11, in 2014. She is the second-youngest qualifier for the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links, and the youngest ever to advance to match play in that event. Li was an age group winner at the inaugural Masters Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship in Augusta, Georgia. As of 2014, she is a student of Jim McLean.

    Nelly Korda is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour, where she has won 14 times and reached number one in the Women's World Golf Rankings. Korda won the Olympic gold medal at the women's individual golf event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She represented the United States at the 2019 Solheim Cup, 2021 Solheim Cup, 2023 Solheim Cup and won the 2024 Solheim Cup.

    Linnea Ström is a Swedish professional golfer. She joined the U.S.-based LPGA Tour after graduating from the Symetra Tour as 2018 Rookie of the Year. She was solo second at the 2022 Madrid Ladies Open and 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship before winning the 2024 ShopRite LPGA Classic.

    Gabriela Ruffels is an Australian American former tennis player and current professional golfer. Starting at the age of eight, Ruffels started playing tennis and won twenty one International Tennis Federation doubles events in Europe. She also was the number one ranking Australian junior when she was twelve. After switching from tennis to golf in 2015, Ruffels primarily competed in Australia from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, Ruffels joined the USC Trojans women's golf team at the University of Southern California. With USC, Ruffels appeared at the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships from 2018 to 2019 in both the individual and team events.

    Karin Ingrid Andrea Lindblad is a Swedish professional golfer and LPGA Tour player. She had an exceptional amateur career and spent 53 weeks as World Amateur Golf Ranking number one, after winning the 2021 European Ladies Amateur, finishing runner-up at the 2022 Augusta National Women's Amateur, setting amateur scoring records at the 2022 U.S. Women's Open, winning the World Amateur Team Championship for the 2022 Espirito Santo Trophy, and collecting 15 college titles.

The season began at the Four Season Golf Club in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on January 21 and ended on November 21 at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States–based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).

    The 2021 Symetra Tour was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2021 in the United States. The Symetra Tour is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in the United States and is the "official developmental tour" of the LPGA Tour. It was previously known as the Futures Tour.
