Cocciaretto saved multiple match points during the tournament—one match point against Céline Naef in the first round, and a further match point in the semifinals against Anna Bondár.

Renata Zarazúa won the singles title at the 2023 Montevideo Open, defeating Diane Parry in the final, 7–5, 3–6, 6–4.

The 2024 Fifth Third Charleston 125, sponsored by the Fifth Third Bank, was a professional women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 2nd edition of the tournament and part of the 2024 WTA 125 tournaments, offering a total of $115,000 in prize money. The first edition in 2021 was held on green clay but the surface was changed to hard in 2024. It took place at LTP Mount Pleasant in Charleston, South Carolina, United States from 11 to 16 March 2024.

Elisabetta Cocciaretto was the defending champion, but lost in the semifinals to Nadia Podoroska.

Diana Shnaider won the singles title at the 2024 Trophée Clarins, defeating Emma Navarro in the final, 6–2, 3–6, 6–4.

Last year's finalist Anna Karolína Schmiedlová won the title, defeating Mayar Sherif in the final, 7–5, 2–6, 6–4.

Alycia Parks won the title, defeating Bernarda Pera in the final, 6–3, 6–1. She saved two match points en route to the title, in her qualifying match against Anna Sisková.
