Karolína Muchová is a Czech professional tennis player. She has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 8, achieved on 11 September 2023. Muchová reached the 2023 French Open final, and has won one WTA Tour title at the 2019 Korea Open.

Ashleigh Barty defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 6–3, 6–7(4–7), 6–3 to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. It was her first Wimbledon title and second major singles title overall. She became the first Australian to win the title since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1980, the first top seed to win the title since Serena Williams in 2016 and the first to do so at any major since Simona Halep at the 2018 French Open. Barty's victory made her the fourth player to win the women's singles title after previously winning the girls' singles title. She retained the world No. 1 ranking by reaching the semifinals, with Aryna Sabalenka having also been in contention for the top ranking.

Linda Nosková is a Czech professional tennis player. She has a career-high singles ranking by the WTA of No. 25, achieved on 26 August 2024, and a doubles ranking of No. 60, set on 19 August 2024. She won her first WTA Tour title at the 2024 Monterrey Open. Her best Grand Slam performance is reaching the quarterfinals at the 2024 Australian Open, defeating world No. 1, Iga Świątek.

Peyton Mckenzie Stearns is an American professional tennis player. She has been ranked by the WTA as high as No. 43 in singles, achieved on 18 September 2023, and No. 71 in doubles, achieved on 9 September 2024. She has won one WTA Tour singles title, and five singles and two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.

Emma Raducanu defeated Leylah Fernandez in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 US Open. It was her first major title, and she became the first qualifier to win a major. Additionally, she became the first British woman to win a singles major since Virginia Wade at the 1977 Wimbledon Championships, and the second player to win the US Open on her debut after Bianca Andreescu in 2019. Aged 18, Raducanu became the youngest major champion since Maria Sharapova at the 2004 Wimbledon Championships and with a ranking of world No. 150, the lowest-ranked player to win a major since Kim Clijsters at the 2009 US Open, and the youngest player to win the title since Serena Williams at the 1999 US Open. She also won the title without losing a set during the tournament, including during her three qualification matches, and was not taken to a tiebreaker in any set. This was her first WTA Tour singles title, making her the fourth woman in the Open Era to win a major as her first singles title.

Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka defeated Zheng Qinwen in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Australian Open. It was her second Australian Open title and second major singles title overall. Sabalenka did not lose a set during the tournament, and lost only 31 games in total. Sabalenka became the first player to defend the title since Victoria Azarenka in 2013.
