The central court of China Open

The China Open is a hardcourt tennis tournament organized by the Chinese Tennis Association annually at the China National Tennis Center in Beijing, China. It is held in late September and early October. The women's event is a WTA 1000 event on the WTA Tour, while the men's is an ATP 500 event on the ATP Tour. The total prize money for the 2023 tournament is US$11.62 million, the highest for tournaments of the same level.

Contents

The tournament was first held in 1993, discontinued in 1998, and reinstated in 2004. In 2006, the China Open became the first tournament outside the United States to use the Hawk-Eye system in match play. [3]

The Swiss Open Gstaad is a tennis tournament held in Gstaad, Switzerland. The tournament is played on outdoor clay courts. Between 1971 and 1989 it was an event of the Grand Prix tennis circuit and is now a part of the ATP Tour schedule as an ATP Tour 250 series event.

The Eastbourne International is a tennis tournament on the WTA Tour and the ATP Tour held at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club, Eastbourne, United Kingdom. Held since 1974, it is classified as a WTA 500 series on the WTA Tour and an ATP Tour 250 series on the ATP Tour. The tournament is played on outdoor grass courts, and is generally considered a "warm-up" for the Wimbledon Championships, a major tournament, which begins the following week. Both the men's and the women's events were held at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing, China, from 1 October till 7 October 2012. Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka won the singles titles.
