The Singapore Open was a Grand Prix and ATP Tour affiliated tennis tournament played from 1989 to 1992 and from 1996 to 1999. It was known as the Epson Singapore Super Tennis until 1992 and the Heineken Open from 1996 to 1999. It was initially played on outdoor hard courts at Kallang Tennis Centre. For the latter four editions it was an indoor event at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The Eurocard Open was an annual tennis tournament for male professional players. The event was held annually in Stuttgart, Germany, and was played on indoor carpet from 1988 to 1997. Before 1990, during years 1988–1989 the tournament was organized as an invitational round-robin exhibition for 8 players. From 1990 to 1995, the Eurocard Open was an ATP Championship Series tournament, and was held every February on the ATP Tour.

The Milan Indoor, also known under various sponsored names, was a men's professional tennis tournament founded in 1973 as the ATP Milano Indoors an indoor carpet court event, that was the successor event the Milano International Indoors an indoor wood court tournament. In 1978 the event was revived as the Milan Indoor and held until 2005 when it was branded as the International of Lombardy or Internazionali di Lombardia. It took placed in Milan, Italy with the exception of three years (1998–2000) when it was held in London, United Kingdom. The event was part of the Grand Prix circuit (1981–89) and ATP Tour (1990–2005) and was played on indoor carpet courts, except for the 2000 edition which was played on an indoor hard court. The most successful singles players were John McEnroe and Boris Becker who both won four titles. Stefan Edberg and Roger Federer won the first singles title of their career at the event. A single female edition of the event was held in 1991, won by Monica Seles. Due to a lack of sponsorship the tournament was replaced on the 2006 ATP Tour by the Zagreb Indoors.

The 1995 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament was a men's tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It was the 23rd edition of the event known that year as the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, and was part of the ATP World Series of the 1995 ATP Tour. It took place at the Rotterdam Ahoy indoor sporting arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from 27 February through 6 March 1995. Fifthe-seeded Richard Krajicek won the singles title.

The Ostrava Open was a tennis tournament organised for female professional tennis players. It was most recently a WTA 500-level tournament held in October, played on indoor hard courts, and first organized in 2020 after a 20 year absence to make up for the many tournaments cancelled during the 2020 season, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was held from 2020-2022, with the WTA announcing in June 2023 that the event would not return.

The 1992 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament was a men's tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It was the 20th edition of the event known that year as the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, and was part of the ATP World Series of the 1992 ATP Tour. It took place at the Rotterdam Ahoy indoor sporting arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from 24 February through 1 March 1992. Boris Becker won the singles title.

The U.S. Professional Indoor Championships, also known as U.S. Pro Indoor, was a professional tennis tournament founded in 1962 as the Philadelphia Invitational Indoor Tennis Championships. The tournament was held in Philadelphia, United States from 1962 to 1998. It played on indoor carpet courts, and indoor hard courts. It was an ILTF sanctioned event from 1962 to 1967 and again in 1970, the World Championship Tennis (WCT) circuit in 1968, 1969 and from 1971 to 1977 and the Grand Prix Tour from 1978 to 1989 before being held on the ATP Tour. It was held annually first at the Spectrum, and then at the CoreStates Center. It was originally named the Philadelphia Indoor Open Tournament prior to the open era.

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour is the elite professional tennis circuit organised by the ATP tour. The 2000 ATP Tour calendar comprises the Grand Slam tournaments, the tennis event at the 2000 Summer Olympics, the Tennis Masters Series, the ATP International Series Gold, the ATP International Series, the ATP World Team Cup, the Tennis Masters Cup and the ATP Tour World Doubles Championships. The 1996 Eurocard Open was a men's tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It was the 1st edition of the Stuttgart Masters and was part of the Mercedes Super 9 of the 1996 ATP Tour. It took place at the Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart, Germany from 21 October through 27 October 1996. Sixth-seeded Boris Becker won the singles title.

The 1996 Salem Open Beijing and the Nokia Open were tennis tournaments. The men's tournament was played on indoor carpet courts while the women's tournament was played on indoor hard courts. Both events were held in Beijing, China and were part of the World Series of the 1996 ATP Tour and of Tier IV of the 1996 WTA Tour. The men's tournament was held from October 7 through October 13, 1996, while the women's tournament was held from October 14 through October 20, 1996. Greg Rusedski and Wang Shi-ting won the singles titles.

The 1996 Singapore Open was a men's tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts in Singapore and was part of the World Series of the 1996 ATP Tour. The tournament ran from September 30 through October 6, 1996. Unseeded Jonathan Stark, who entered the main draw as a qualifier, won the singles title.

The Malaysian Open was a combined men's and women's professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts that was originally founded the Malayan Championships. The event has been held at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort and The Royal Selangor Golf Club. The tournament ran from 1921 to 1978. It was revived for a second time from 1992 through to 1995. It was staged for the third and final time from 2009 to 2018.

The ATP Masters events, known as ATP Masters 1000 tournaments since 2009, are an annual series of nine tennis tournaments featuring the top-ranked players on the ATP Tour since its inception in 1990. The Masters tournaments, sitting below the Grand Slam tournaments and the year-end championships, make up the most coveted trophies on the annual ATP Tour calendar. In addition to the quadrennial Summer Olympics, they are collectively known as the 'Big Titles'.

The 1998 Singapore Open was a men's tennis tournament played on Indoor Hard in Singapore, Singapore that was part of the Championship Series of the 1998 ATP Tour. It was the seventh edition of the tournament and was held from 12 October – 18 October.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Carpet court</span> Type of tennis court

A carpet court is a type of tennis court. The International Tennis Federation describes the surface as a "textile or polymeric material supplied in rolls or sheets of finished product". It is one of the fastest court types, second only to grass courts. The use of carpet courts in ATP Tour competitions ended in 2009. In women's tennis, no WTA Tour tournaments have used carpet courts since the last edition of the Tournoi de Québec in 2018. ATP Challenger and ITF circuit level tournaments with carpet courts continue to exist up to the present (2024).

The 1992 Eurocard Open was a men's ATP tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart, Germany that was part of the Championship Series of the 1992 ATP Tour. It was the third edition of the tournament and was held from 17 February until 23 February 1992. Seventh-seeded Goran Ivanišević won the singles title.
