The 2024 Shakey's Girls Volleyball Invitational League was the second edition of the high school competition organized by the Shakey's Super League and the first SSL tournament of 2024. The tournament started on May 29, 2024, at Adamson University Gym, Ermita, Manila. It features 18 high school teams from different schools. [1]

Contents

Adamson Lady Baby Falcons dominated Bacolod Tay Tung High School (3–0) in the championship match and was crowned as the champions of the tournament. Bacolod Tay Tung High School settled for silver. [2] King's Montessori School won the bronze after a thrilling 4 sets victory against NU Bullpups in the 3rd place match. [3]

The preliminary rounds will be played in best of three sets. The semifinals and finals will be played in best of five sets.

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the top-level women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League (SVL), a women's collegiate league. In 2017, the league was rebranded into the Premier Volleyball League. From 2017 to 2020, the league was open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The league status turned professional in 2021.

Jessica Margarett "Jema" Casidsid Galanza is a Filipina volleyball player and former captain of the Adamson Soaring Lady Falcons volleyball team in the UAAP and a National Team Member. She also played for the Laoag Power Smashers during the 2016 SVL Reinforced Conference and has become one of the top spikers for the Creamline Cool Smashers since 2017 in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

The 2012 Shakey's V-League (SVL) season was the ninth season of the Shakey's V-League. There were two indoor conferences for this season.

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the seventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League. Conference started on May 26, 2019. Grand Fans Day was held at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City on April 25, 2019. Games were held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Philippines. Philippine Army returned as Pacific Town-Army Lady Troopers and Motolite Power Builders returned with a new set of players.

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference was the ninth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on August 17, 2019, and ended on October 12, 2019, at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. Defending champions University of the Philippines skipped this conference, while reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines champion Ateneo de Manila University returned after sitting out the 2018 collegiate conference.

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the eighth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on August 11, 2019 and ended on November 9, 2019 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. Philippine Air Force Women's Volleyball Team returned in action and two new teams joined the conference named Chef's Classics Lady Red Spikers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season.

Angel Anne Canino is a Filipino volleyball player. She is currently playing as an outside hitter for the De La Salle Lady Spikers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.

The Shakey's Super League (SSL) is a women's volleyball league in the Philippines contested within the collegaite and high school levels. The league is organized by Shakey's Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI) and the Athletic Events and Sports Management Group Inc. (ACES).

The 2022 Shakey's Super League Collegiate Pre-Season Championship was the inaugural edition of the collegiate pre-season competition organized by the Shakey's Super League. It is also the first tournament for the SSL in general and the only such in 2022. The tournament was held on September 24 to November 19, 2022, at Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Manila. It features 18 collegiate teams from the two most prominent collegiate athletics associations in the country — NCAA and UAAP.

The 2022 V-League Collegiate Challenge is the first conference of the V-League after it relaunched this year after six years. It is the inaugural competition of the V-League as a standalone tournament after being tied with Shakey's Pizza in the past as their title sponsor.

This tournament was set to be the second post-pandemic import-laden conference known as the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference, with the Angels set to defend their crown, but was made into a second All-Filipino Conference as a consequence of sanctions from the Philippine National Volleyball Federation.

This tournament showcased the top three teams of the recent volleyball tournaments of the NCAA and UAAP, alongside the top two teams from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao that qualified on the regional qualifiers.
