The San Sebastian Lady Stags is the women's collegiate volleyball teams of San Sebastian College-Recoletos. They compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

History

San Sebastian Lady Stags joined NCAA in 1969. They have the longest champion streak in NCAA history with 10 from 1987 to 1997. They also have the most championships overall with 23. Their last championship was in 2011. [1]

The San Sebastian Lady Stags also joined Shakey's Super League and V-League in 2022. [2]

The LPU Pirates are the athletic teams that represent the Lyceum of the Philippines University and plays in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines), the oldest athletic association in the Philippines. Lyceum has fifteen collegiate men's varsity teams that participate in fifteen sporting events of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines), its mother league. They are popularly known as the "Pirata ng Intramuros". The women's varsity team is called the Lady Pirates, which plays in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) while the high school varsity basketball team is from the Cavite Campus' International High School which is called the Junior Pirates. The Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup is a pre-season collegiate basketball tournament in the Philippines. It is organized by Filoil EcoOil Sports. It gathers teams mainly from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), but also include some invited teams such as the RP Youth under-18 team and teams from other leagues, in a basketball tournament just before the start of the collegiate season.

The Shakey's V-League 9th Season: 1st Conference is the sixteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on April 24, 2012, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. After a two-year hiatus, the Tigresses of the University of Santo Tomas, the winningest team of the league, participates the conference with other nine teams.

Alyssa Caymo Valdez is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Her global recognition paved the way for her to play in other countries like Thailand for 3BB Nakornnont and Taiwan for Attack Line Volleyball Club.

Aiza Maizo-Pontillas is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She was a former member and team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses, and a former member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team.

Julia Melissa "Jia" Morado-De Guzman is a Filipino volleyball player. She was a member of the Ateneo Lady Eagles and was team's captain in the UAAP Season 79 Women's Volleyball tournament. In 2018 Jia was also a member of the Philippines Women's National Volleyball Team.

Roger Gorayeb is a Filipino volleyball coach and former college player. He is noted for being a multi-titled and longtime coach of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos de Manila women's team of the NCAA.

Grethcel Soltones, is a Filipina volleyball player for the Akari Chargers in the Premier Volleyball League.

Myla Pablo is a Filipino volleyball player. She was part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team in 2015.

The Shakey's V-League was a non-professional volleyball league in the Philippines that started in 2004. It began as a women's collegiate league with teams coming from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation (CESAFI), among others. Since 2011, corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams have also participated in the league.

The UST Golden Tigresses are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the University of Santo Tomas. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Their current head coach is the former Golden Spiker Kungfu Reyes who is also the coach of their junior girls’ volleyball program.

Risa Sato is a Filipino-Japanese volleyball player who is currently living in the Philippines. She played in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines for the NU Lady Bulldogs and is currently playing in the Premier Volleyball League for the Creamline Cool Smashers.

The 2011 Shakey's V-League (SVL) season was the eighth season of the Shakey's V-League. There were three indoor conferences in 2011 season.

The College of Saint Benilde Lady Blazers women's volleyball team is the volleyball teams of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde.

Angelique Dionela is a Filipino volleyball athlete. Dionela played for the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta collegiate women's University team. She is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League.

The NU Lady Bulldogs are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the National University. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

The FEU Lady Tamaraws are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the Far Eastern University. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

The Adamson Lady Falcons are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the Adamson University. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
