In the men's final, Brendan Bottcher defeated Kevin Koe 6–5 to win his 3rd career Grand Slam. In the women's final, Silvana Tirinzoni defeated Kerri Einarson 6–3 to win her 2nd career Slam.

The 2020 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from February 27 to March 1 at the Bemidji Curling Club in Bemidji, Minnesota. The twelve teams were divided into two pools of six teams each. Each pool played a full round robin with the top three from each pool proceeding to the playoffs. The winning team of Tabitha Peterson and Joe Polo was supposed to represent the United States at the 2020 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Kelowna, Canada but the event got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They will instead compete at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland as the 2021 U.S. Mixed Doubles National Championship was postponed due to the pandemic.

The trials featured ten teams played in a round robin tournament. After the round robin, the top four teams qualified for the page playoff. The winner of this event will represent the United States at the Olympic Qualification Event in hopes of reaching the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.
The 2022 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from March 8 to 13, 2022 at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton, Wisconsin. The championship featured twenty-five teams that played in a triple knockout format, which qualified eight teams for the championship round. From there, four teams advanced to the four team page playoff round.
The 2022 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 23 to 30 at the Curling Club Trois-Chêne in the Geneva Sous-Moulin Sports Center in Thônex, a suburb of Geneva, Switzerland. The event was held alongside the 2022 World Senior Curling Championships. Eve Muirhead and Bobby Lammie of Scotland went undefeated the entire event, beating home team Alina Pätz and Sven Michel of Switzerland 9-7 in the final to win the gold medal.

The women's event ran from Sunday, February 19, 2023, to Friday, February 24, 2023. The men's and mixed doubles events ran from Tuesday, February 28, 2023, to Sunday, March 5, 2023.
The 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 22 to 29 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea. The event was held alongside the 2023 World Senior Curling Championships. Korey Dropkin and Cory Thiesse defeated Chiaki Matsumura and Yasumasa Tanida 8-2 in the final to win the gold medal.
The 2023 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from March 21 to 26 at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury, Ontario. The winning pair will represent Canada at the 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Gangneung, South Korea. This was the first time the event will be held since 2021 when it was hosted in the "bubble" and the first time since 2019 it was held with fans.
The 2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship will be held from April 20 to 27 at the Östersund Arena in Östersund, Sweden. The event was held alongside the 2024 World Senior Curling Championships.
The 2023 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship was held from November 5 to 11 at the Swift Current Curling Club in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The winning team of Shaun Meachem, Kelly Schafer, Chris Haichert and Teejay Haichert from Saskatchewan will represent Canada at the 2024 World Mixed Curling Championship.
