League A of the Women's European Qualifiers will determine four of the European teams to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup and twelve of the teams to advance to the play-off phase. [1]

Format

The sixteen highest-ranked teams in the 2025 UEFA Women's Nations League overall phase ranking will be drawn into four groups of four teams each. Each group will be contested in a league format where each team plays each other team at home and away. Group winners will qualify directly to the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, and all other teams will advance to the play-off phase.

A total of 8 teams will play in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2007 eligible to participate.

The UEFA Futsal Euro 2026 qualifying competition will be a men's futsal competition that determines the 14 teams joining the automatically qualified co-hosts Latvia and Lithuania in the UEFA Futsal Euro 2026 final tournament, which will be played on a four-year basis and featuring 16 teams.

League A is the top division of the 2025 UEFA Women's Nations League, the second season of the international football competition involving the women's national teams of the member associations of UEFA. League A will culminate with the Nations League Finals in October – December 2025 to determine the champions of the competition. The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group G is one of the twelve UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Group G consists of five teams: the loser of quarter-final 1, Finland, Lithuania, Malta and Poland. The teams will play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format from March to November 2025. However, as the loser of quarter-final 1 will be involved in the Nations League A quarter-finals in March, they will not begin their qualifying campaign until June 2025.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group H is one of the twelve UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Group H consists of five teams: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Romania and San Marino. The teams will play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format from March to November 2025. However, as Austria will be involved in the Nations League promotion/relegation play-offs in March, they will not begin their qualifying campaign until June 2025.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group I is one of the twelve UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Group I consists of five teams: the loser of quarter-final 4, Estonia, Israel, Moldova and Norway. The teams will play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format from March to November 2025. However, as the loser of quarter-final 4 will be involved in the Nations League A quarter-finals in March, they will not begin their qualifying campaign until June 2025.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group J is one of the twelve UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Group J consists of five teams: Belgium, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia and Wales. The teams will play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format from March to November 2025. However, as Belgium will be involved in the Nations League promotion/relegation play-offs in March, they will not begin their qualifying campaign until June 2025.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group K is one of the twelve UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Group K consists of five teams: Albania, Andorra, England, Latvia and Serbia. The teams will play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format from March to November 2025. However, as Serbia will be involved in the Nations League promotion/relegation play-offs in March, they will not begin their qualifying campaign until June 2025.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group L is one of the twelve UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Group L consists of five teams: the loser of quarter-final 2, the Czech Republic, the Faroe Islands, Gibraltar and Montenegro. The teams will play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format from March to November 2025. However, as the loser of quarter-final 2 will be involved in the Nations League A quarter-finals in March, they will not begin their qualifying campaign until June 2025.

League B of the Women's European Qualifiers will determine twelve of the teams to advance to the play-off phase.

League C of the Women's European Qualifiers will determine eight of the teams to advance to the play-off phase.
