Short Film Contest

Vishnu Manchu started a Short Film Contest launched by his premier production house 24 Frames Factory. The intention of this contest to bring out fresh talent and ideas. The award-winning entry will won a prize money of 100000 and give an opportunity to direct a film for 24 Frames Factory.

The jury members of this short film contest are Well-known Telugu filmmakers such as Ram Gopal Varma, Deva Katta, B.V.S.Ravi, Dasarath and writer duo Kona Venkat and Gopimohan. The duration of the competing short film should be three minutes.

The short film contest will be an annual affair, and the winners of the inaugural annual contest will be announced every year on actor-producer Mohan Babu's birthday 19 March. [8]

Manchu Vishnu Vardhan Babu is an Indian actor and producer known for his works in Telugu cinema and television. Manchu had a brief stint as a child artist with the 1985 film Ragile Gundelu. Years later, he starred in the 2003 Telugu action film Vishnu, for which he won the Filmfare Best Male Debut. He is the co-owner of the film production house 24 Frames Factory and is an educationalist through Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust, founded by his father and veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu. He is a founder and chairman of New York Academy, a school in Hyderabad for which his wife, Viranica, is the director and his father Mohan Babu, is the chair person. It stars Vishnu Manchu and his father Mohan Babu with Jayasudha and Shanvi Srivastav in important roles. Sai Karthik composed the music for this film, while Satish Mutyala handled the cinematography. The principal photography commenced on 26 December 2013 and ended on 21 February 2014 in 30 working days. It was dubbed into Hindi as Rowdy.

Dynamite is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by Deva Katta and produced by Manchu Vishnu under the banner 24 Frames Factory featuring himself, Pranitha Subhash, J. D. Chakravarthy in pivotal roles. It is the official remake of Tamil film Arima Nambi. Katta, however, said that he shot the film for nine days only and walked out due to creative differences. Katta was credited as the film's director nonetheless without his permission. Stunts and action scenes were directed by Vijayan. The audio sound track of the film was released on 6 June 2015.

It is a remake of the Marathi film Be Dune Saade Chaar (2009) and shares continuity with the 1992 film Allari Mogudu.

Gayatri is a 2018 Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Madan and written by Diamond Ratna Babu. Produced by Mohan Babu, the film stars himself in a dual role as the hero and villain, along with Nikhila Vimal, Shriya Saran and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Mohan Babu's son Vishnu Manchu plays the younger version of one of his characters. The film also features Brahmanandam, Ali, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Tanikella Bharani and Posani Krishna Murali in supporting roles. The film is a remake of Bangladeshi movie Aynabaji directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. The music was composed by S. Thaman with cinematography by Sarvesh Murari.
