Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures is an Indian film production company established by Manchu Mohan Babu on the name of his daughter Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, in 1982. The company is based in Hyderabad. The first movie was Pratigna which successfully ran for 100 Days. Some of the most popular blockbusters are ''Assembly Rowdy'', Rowdygari Pellam, Alludu Garu , Major Chandrakanth , Pedarayudu and Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary have made the Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures (SLPP) as one of the premier film houses in the country.
In 1993 the production company produced a film Major Chandrakanth with NTR and Mohan Babu directed by K.Raghavendra Rao. It was released on 23 April 1993. The movie became a big hit at the box office. The audience were thrilled to see NTR in such a powerful role and particularly with Punya Bhoomi naa desam song in the movie, in which he was seen in the roles of Alluri Seetharama Raju, Chathrapathi Sivaji, Veerapandy Katta Brahmanna and Subhash Chandrabose. The film had stood out as one of the masterpieces in the Telugu film industry. [1]

Manchu Bhakthavatsalam Naidu, credited and also known as Mohan Babu, is an Indian actor and film producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. An alumnus of the Madras Film Institute, Mohan Babu has acted in more than 500 films in lead, supporting and a variety of roles.
Yalamanchili Venkata Satyanarayana Chowdary is an Indian Telugu cinema writer, director, producer, distributor, exhibitor and a music company owner. He made his debut as a director in 1998 with the film Sri Sita Ramula Kalyanam Chootamu Raarandi produced by Nagarjuna under the banner "Great India Entertainments". He then directed Seetharama Raju starring Nagarjuna and Nandamuri Harikrishna, and Yuvaraju starring Mahesh Babu. He then established his own production house "Bommarillu Vari" and started producing his own directorial efforts with Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo. Later, he directed Seetayya, Devadasu, Okka Magaadu, Saleem, Rey. Among these, Saleem is the only film which is not from his production house. He has directed nine films till date. In 2012, he produced Nippu starring Ravi Teja and Deeksha Seth under the direction of Gunasekhar.
Major Chandrakanth is a 1993 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and written by the Paruchuri brothers. Produced by Mohan Babu under the Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner, the film stars N. T. Rama Rao in the title role, alongside Mohan Babu, Nagma, Ramya Krishna, Sarada, and Amrish Puri. Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film directed by Sriwass and featuring an ensemble cast composed of Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Manoj, Raveena Tandon, Hansika Motwani, Pranitha Subhash, Varun Sandesh, and Tanish. Rowdy is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. It stars Vishnu Manchu and his father Mohan Babu with Jayasudha and Shanvi Srivastav in important roles. Sai Karthik composed the music for this film, while Satish Mutyala handled the cinematography. The principal photography commenced on 26 December 2013 and ended on 21 February 2014 in 30 working days. It was dubbed into Hindi by the same name.

Punya Bhoomi Naa Desam is a 1994 Indian Telugu film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and produced by Mohan Babu under the banner of his production company Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. It stars Mohan Babu and Meena in lead roles, while Dasari Narayana Rao, Gollapudi Maruti Rao, Annapoorna, Brahmanandam and Babu Mohan played other pivotal roles. The film is a remake of the Hindi film Krantiveer. The film's title is based off a song from Major Chandrakanth (1993), which also starred Mohan Babu.

It stars Mohan Babu, Rajendra Prasad, and Sakshi Shivanand with music by Vandemataram Srinivas. Despite releasing to positive reviews, the film was a box office failure.
Gayatri is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Madan and written by Diamond Ratna Babu. Produced by Mohan Babu, the film stars himself in a dual role as the hero and villain, along with Nikhila Vimal, Shriya Saran and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Mohan Babu's son Vishnu Manchu plays the younger version of one of his characters. The film also features Brahmanandam, Ali, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Tanikella Bharani and Posani Krishna Murali in supporting roles. The film is an official remake of Bangladeshi movie Aynabaji directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. The music was composed by S. Thaman with cinematography by Sarvesh Murari. The film released on 9 February 2018.
Suryam is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Samudra and starring Manchu Vishnu, Celina Jaitly, and Veda. The film was produced by Vishnu's father Mohan Babu under his banner Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. Mohan Babu had previously produced Vishnu's first film, Vishnu (2003).
