A. Kodandarami Reddy (born 1 July 1950) is an Indian film director best known for his works in Telugu cinema. [1] His association with Chiranjeevi created blockbusters in multiple genres such as Nyayam Kavali (1981), Khaidi (1983), Abhilasha (1983), Goonda (1984), Challenge (1984), Donga (1985), Rakshasudu (1986), Pasivadi Pranam (1987), Donga Mogudu (1987), Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu (1989), Kondaveeti Donga (1990), and Muta Mestri (1993). Personal life

Reddy was born near Nellore, in a small beach town Mypadu, into an agricultural family. Reddy is married to Bharathi. Their elder son, Sunil Reddy, is a businessman-turned-actor in Tamil cinema. He made his film debut, in Seethakaathi (2018), in which he played a negative role. [6] He directed the 2007 film, Godava , under his home production, to launch his second son, Vaibhav Reddy. Reddy made around 94 movies and almost 90% of them were successful. He was also one of the foremost directors, who introduced Ilaiyaraaja to give music for big budget films, in Telugu cinema. His films: Abhilasha , Challenge , Kirathakudu , Rakshasudu , and Kondaveeti Donga were big musical hits of the Chiranjeevi-Reddy-Ilaiyaraaja-Yandamuri Veerendranath combination. He was primarily responsible for Chiranjeevi's Supreme Hero and Mega Star monikers, which started with Khaidi , that released just a few months after Abhilasha, in 1983. Afterwards, he went on to make several blockbusters with Chiranjeevi. The pair earned great reputation with action and thriller films in Telugu cinema.

Khaidi (transl. Prisoner) is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and starring Chiranjeevi and Madhavi. Released on 28 October 1983, Khaidi was a major commercial success, marking a pivotal moment in Chiranjeevi's career and establishing him as a leading star in Telugu cinema. In 1984, it was remade in Hindi as Qaidi, and in Kannada under the same title, with Madhavi reprising her role both times. The movie was loosely inspired by the 1982 movie First Blood.

Veta (transl.Hunt) is a 1986 Indian Telugu-language period action film directed by Kondandarami Reddy starring Chiranjeevi, Jaya Prada and Sumalatha. The film was based on Alexandre Dumas' novel The Count of Monte Cristo and was produced by Samyuktha Movies, the same banner behind the blockbuster Khaidi (1983). Veta reunited the successful Khaidi team of director A. Kodandarami Reddy, composer K. Chakravarthy, and the writers Paruchuri brothers. The film released on 28 May 1986 and ended up as a disaster at the box office.

FEFSI Vijayan is an Indian action choreographer, stunt coordinator, actor who works in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi language films. He has the record of being the youngest stunt master in the Indian film industry at the age of 22. He became a stunt man at the age of 17 due to family situation. He is the son of stunt choreographer Swaminathan who is known for composing Lion fight done by MGR in Adimai Penn. Swaminathan was a prominent fight master for MGR films and for that Vijayan had very close relationship with MGR. He was the president of the FEFSI and thus, earning him the nickname FEFSI Vijayan. His son, Shabarish is an actor who has starred in few films.

Raavu Gopala Rao was an Indian actor and producer known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. Kolluru Chidambara Rao, known professionally as Kallu Chidambaram, was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. Chidambaram is one of the finest comedians of Telugu cinema. Chidambaram started his career as a theatre artist while working as an Assistant Engineer in Visakhapatnam Port Trust. He made his film debut in 1988 with Kallu from which acquired his stage name. He had garnered the state Nandi Special Jury Award for the film.

Kanakamedala Devi Varaprasad was an Indian film producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He produced several successful films under his production banner, Devi Films. Prasad was particularly recognized for his collaborations with actors Chiranjeevi and N. T. Rama Rao.
