3er arco (3rd arch) is the third album by Argentine rock band Los Piojos. Recorded and mixed between June and July in 1996 at Del Cielito Records. It was officially presented at the Arpegios Theatre. Two concerts at the Estadio Obras in September, two concerts at the Microestadio de Ferro in November and three more concerts at the Estadio Obras in December.
It is included in "The 100 best argentine rock albums" as listed on the Rolling Stone magazine.
The Allmusic review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine awarded the album 4 stars stating "3er Arco finds the Argentinean band Los Piojos -- composed of Daniel "Piti" Fernandez, Daniel Buira, Miguel Angel "Micky" Rodriguez, Gustavo Kupinski and Andres Ciro Martinez—at the peak of their form, turning out an imaginative fusion of Latin rhythms and hard rock. It's their finest moment to date and the best way to become acquainted with the band. ". [1]

Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, also known simply as Patricio Rey, Los Redondos or Los Redonditos de Ricota, was a rock band formed in La Plata, Argentina. The group was active from the mid 70s up to the early 2000s. They are known for shaping Argentine rock and their enormous fan base.

Hermética was an Argentine thrash metal band from San Martín, Buenos Aires. It was formed by bassist Ricardo Iorio in 1987 after his previous band, V8, disbanded. Hermética was signed to the independent record label Radio Trípoli Discos throughout their career. The band's initial lineup consisted of Iorio, vocalist Claudio O'Connor, drummer Fabián Spataro and guitarist Antonio Romano. Spataro left the band in 1988 and was replaced by Antonio Scotto. This lineup recorded their eponymous album, the first thrash metal album recorded in Argentina. At this point of their career, Hermética performed mainly in Argentina, except for one concert held in Uruguay. In 1990, they released Intérpretes—an extended play which included covers of Argentine rock and tango songs. Both albums were released by Radio Trípoli Discos as a single CD when digital technology became available.
Homenaje is a 1996 live album, recorded during the "Metal Rock Festival" at Obras Sanitarias. The concert was a reunion of the first line-up of the Argentine heavy metal band V8, with the exception of its original bass player Ricardo Iorio.

The band had its first performances in December 2009 in Rosario and Córdoba. In 2010 they released their first album, Espejos, which went double platinum. He researches the musical origins of the Chamamé rhythm, carefully exploring the identity of that musical genre. He has toured with artists such as: Chango Spasiuk, Raúl Barboza, Os Fagundes, Elton Saldanha and done performances with Brazilian artists such as Luiza Possi.
