Calvin Alan Byrd (born December 17, 1979), professionally known by his stage name 40 Cal., is an American rapper . He was a member of Harlem-based hip-hop group The Diplomats.

Contents

Byrd made his first appearance on the self-titled theme song, "40 Cal" for the Dipset album Diplomatic Immunity 2 . He took a part on MTV2's Fight Klub MC battles. [1]

Beginning his career in the early-1990s as Killa Cam, Giles signed with Lance "Un" Rivera's Untertainment, an imprint of Epic Records to release his first two studio albums Confessions of Fire (1998) and S.D.E. (2000); the former received gold certification by the RIAA. After leaving Epic, Giles signed with Roc-A-Fella Records in 2001 to release his third studio album, Come Home with Me, the following year. Master of Ceremonies is the fourth studio album by American rapper Styles P. The album was released on October 4, 2011, by D-Block Records and E1 Music. The album features guest appearances from Lloyd Banks, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes, Pharoahe Monch, Pharrell Williams and Styles' group The L.O.X.
