4436 [1] is the debut Extended play (EP) by South African rapper and TV personality Boity Thulo (mononymously known as Boity). It was released on 4 December 2020 under Universal Music South Africa. The title signifies the street number of where she grew up in Potchefstroom. [2]

Jabulani Hadebe, known professionally as Sjava, is a South African singer, rapper, and actor. He began his acting career in 2005, starring in several drama series and films including uGugu no Andile (2009). He then rose to prominence on the drama series Zone 14, where he starred for three consecutive seasons, Isibaya and the second season of Ehostela. Almost all of his productions begin with the tag "Zoocci Coke Dope! He's the dealer". Zoocci's debut album, Anxiety, was released on 25 November 2019. The follow-up album, Anxiety+ was released on 25 February 2022. He won the Producer of the Year award at the South African Hip Hop Awards 2021.

Sampa Tembo, known professionally as Sampa the Great, is a Zambian singer, rapper and songwriter. Between 2014 and 2020, she was based in Australia. Her debut solo album, The Return, peaked at No. 12 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2019 she won Best Hip Hop Release for her second single, "Final Form". In the following year she won the same category for The Return, as well as Best Female Artist and Best Independent Release. In March 2020 Sampa became the first artist to win the Australian Music Prize twice: for Birds and the Bee9 and The Return. The artist was based back in Zambia from late 2020, where she issued her second studio album, As Above, So Below.

Pop Star is the debut studio album by South African singer-songwriter and videographer Yanga Chief released on 27 November 2020 through Sony Music Entertainment Africa under exclusive license from Young Legend Music, it is the sequel to his debut extended play (EP) Becoming a Pop Star (2019). It was led by singles "BBAF" and "Manelo", and features guest appearances from Langa Mavuso, Maglera Doe Boy, Frank Casino, Tshego AMG, SaveMilli and Thabsie.
