4Nem is the fourth studio album by Chief Keef, released on December 17, 2021, through Glory Boyz Entertainment, One Music, and RBC Records. [1] The features on this album include Tadoe and Ballout.

Background

The album title comes from the word "foenem", which is a Chicago slang term used by people to refer to their friends.

Throughout the year of 2021, Chief Keef issued a slew of standalone singles. After 1,000 days since his last mixtape or album, he announced that he would be releasing an album on December 17, alongside an NFT on December 11.

Singles

Three singles were released from the album. The first single, "Hadouken", was released on June 17, 2021. The second single, "The Talk", was released on July 12, 2021. The final single from the album, "Like It's Yo Job", was released on October 22, 2021.

Pitchfork 's Alphonse Pierre wrote that "the way [Chief Keef] continues to reimagine and reinterpret those influences is part of what makes 4Nem feel so alive". [3] Chris Saunders of Clash called it "one of his best projects to date" and "a welcome return to form for the Chicago native". [2]

Finally Rich is the debut studio album by American rapper Chief Keef. It was released on December 18, 2012 by Glory Boyz Entertainment and Interscope Records. The album features guest appearances from 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Reese, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Master P, French Montana, and Fat Trel, while production was mainly handled by Keef's longtime affiliate Young Chop.

Drill is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in Chicago in the early 2010s. It is sonically similar to the trap music subgenre and lyrically similar to the gangsta rap subgenre. Early drill artists are noted for their explicit, confrontational style of lyricism and association with crime in Chicago, especially the Black Disciples and Gangster Disciples. The genre progressed into the American mainstream in 2012 following the success of pioneering rappers like Chief Keef, Lil Reese, Lil Durk, Fredo Santana, G Herbo, Lil Bibby and King Louie, who had many local fans and a significant internet presence alongside producer Young Chop. Other rappers, such as Lil JoJo, FBG Duck, S. Dot, Edai, L'A Capone, RondoNumbaNine, SD and producer Leek-E-Leek also contributed to the early drill scene. The growing fanbase sparked major label interest, leading to deal negotiations and signings.

The discography of American rapper Chief Keef consists of five studio albums, four extended plays, forty mixtapes, and twenty-eight singles. Chief Keef released his first studio album Finally Rich in 2012, which contained several successful singles, including "I Don't Like", "Hate Bein' Sober", and "Love Sosa". The album peaked at number 29 on the Billboard 200 and number 2 on the Billboard Rap chart. In 2013 he was featured on several hit songs by other rappers. In 2014 he released his mixtape Back from the Dead 2, which was critically acclaimed. In 2015 he was featured on Travis Scott's debut album Rodeo on the song "Nightcrawler". He later released the album Bang 3 in two parts. Following this Chief Keef decided go on a one-year hiatus. In 2017, he released three mixtapes and then released the album Dedication. He then released more mixtapes in 2018. In 2019, he released his collaborative album with Zaytoven called GloToven which has a sole feature from Lil Pump.
