Emilie Autumn Liddell is an American singer-songwriter, poet, author and violinist. Autumn's musical style is described by her as "Fairy Pop", "Fantasy Rock" or "Victoriandustrial". It is influenced by glam rock and from plays, novels, and history, particularly the Victorian era. Performing with her all-female backup dancers The Bloody Crumpets, Autumn incorporates elements of classical music, cabaret, electronica, and glam rock with theatrics, and burlesque.

The story follows Yukito Kunisaki, a traveler who arrives in a quiet seaside town during summer who is on a search for the "girl in the sky" that his now-deceased mother told him about and was searching for too. In town, Yukito meets three strange girls and Yukito begins to suspect that one of them may in fact be the girl he has been searching for. It was adapted by Toei Animation into an animated film in 2005 directed by Osamu Dezaki with music direction by Yoshikazu Suo. Kyoto Animation also adapted it into a 13-episode anime television series broadcast in 2005, along with an additional two episodes also broadcast in 2005, directed by Tatsuya Ishihara with music direction by Shinji Orito. "Time to Pretend" is a song by the American indie band MGMT, released as the lead single from their debut studio album Oracular Spectacular (2007) on March 3, 2008. A limited amount of 3000 copies were created for worldwide distribution, and is no longer in print.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun & Bohemian Rhapsody is an EP by Emilie Autumn released on September 22, 2008 by Trisol Music Group. The first version was available for pre-order as a limited edition digipak bundle, which came with a limited edition "Goths Have More Fun" T-shirt. A standard jewel case was released at the same time.
The Chain Gang of 1974 is the indietronica project of American musician and DJ, Kamtin Mohager. "The Chain Gang of 1974" can also be in reference to Kamtin Mohager himself. Mohager was raised in Hawaii and Colorado, and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. He formed the grunge band Heavenward in 2020.
The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls is a semi-autobiographical/psychological thriller novel by Emilie Autumn. It was published in 2009 as a companion to her 2009–2010 North American, European, and Australian tour, the Asylum Tour. The book chronicles Autumn's experiences in a modern day psych ward as well as those of a fictional young girl, "Emily-with-a-y", in Victorian England who is admitted into an insane asylum. The first and second editions, published in 2010, were large, hardcover, full-color illustrated editions, with glossy pages and weighing nearly five pounds. This version of the book has since been discontinued due to the expense involved in printing, and as of 2017 is only available in black-and-white in ebook and paperback forms. An audiobook version, narrated by the author, was released in 2016.
Glee: The Music, Volume 3 Showstoppers is a soundtrack album by the cast of the American television series Glee. The album contains songs from the second half of the show's first season, except for the episodes "The Power of Madonna" and "Journey to Regionals", songs from which feature on the extended plays Glee: The Music, The Power of Madonna and Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals respectively. The album was released on May 18, 2010. Two editions are available: a standard edition containing 14 songs, and a deluxe edition, featuring 20 songs. Showstoppers debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200, selling 136,000 copies in the first week. On November 21, 2010, it was announced that the album won Favorite Soundtrack of the Year at the American Music Awards.
