It was able to reach #12 in the Oricon weekly charts making this Eiko's most successful single. It has sold more than 34,000 copies and stayed in the charts for 15 weeks. The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime series, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, which is the sequel to the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

The title track is used as the opening theme to the live-action movie for the anime series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. The B-side "Diorama" is the ending theme to the series.

Short Circuit II is a concept album by the Japanese music production unit I've Sound, released on June 22, 2007. It is the second album in the Short Circuit series, centering on their denpa songs. The album is a compilation of songs from various adult PC games and three new originals. It comes with a DVD containing a music video clip of the song "↑Seishun Rocket↑" covered by Kotoko and Utatsuki, who also appear in the music video. "Here Come Those Tears Again" is a song co-written and performed by American singer-songwriter Jackson Browne and included on his 1976 album The Pretender. "Sweet Melody" is a song by British girl group Little Mix, released through RCA Records on 23 October 2020, as the third single from the group's sixth studio album Confetti (2020). It is described as a dance pop track with bouncy reggaeton drum beats, that lyrically addresses a past relationship and is about moving on from a cheating ex. It was met positive reviews from music critics.
