Lineage
This unit was originally formed on June 30, 1931, and was known as the 15th Coast Artillery Band stationed at Fort Kamehameha on Oahu, Hawaii. Its combat assignment was coastal defense of Pearl Harbor, but the unit also assisted in the staffing of the Hawaii Quartermaster Depot when not performing band duties. It was released from assignment to the 15th CA Regiment, and Assigned to Central Pacific Base Command on January 31, 1944. On May 23, 1944, the 15th Coast Artillery Band was reorganized and reassigned as the 76th Army Ground Forces Band which served in the central pacific theater of operation in Japan until May 31, 1947, when the band was inactivated. The band reactivated May 5, 1952, in Orléans, France in support of the United States Army Communications Zone Europe.
The band remained in France until 1966 when they moved to Worms, Germany. In February 1975 the band relocated to Kaiserslautern, Germany in support of 32nd Air Defense Command. On 11 October 1975, the 76th Army Band was reassigned to the 1st Support Brigade, which is now known as the 21st Theater Support Command. The band remained in Kaiserslautern until the 493rd Army Band located in Frankfurt, Germany deactivated. During the drawdown of forces in Europe, the 76th Army Band was attached to V Corps and served with great distinction as the V Corps Band. The 76th relocated again to Wiesbaden in February 1995. The band moved to Coleman Barracks in Sandhofen / Mannheim in July 2001, and was returned to 21st TSC in 2007.
The 76th Army Band has performed before millions in over 20 countries. They have been featured in many international television broadcasts and Military Music Shows around Europe.
The 76th Army Band has deployed in support of Operation Joint Endeavor and Joint Guard in the Balkans region, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and 2006, and has also supported many important commemorations of the anniversaries of D-Day, V-E Day, and The Battle of the Bulge. Other notable contributions include: over 400 troop morale concerts in Iraq; performing with Wayne Newton and Neal McCoy; opening for Bruce Willis and the Accelerators; the WWE’s Christmas in Baghdad; the Dallas Cowboy USO Tour; Robin Williams Comedy Tour; and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s USO Tour.
The 3rd Infantry Division is a combined arms division of the United States Army based at Fort Stewart, Georgia. It is a direct subordinate unit of the XVIII Airborne Corps and U.S. Army Forces Command. Its current organization includes a division headquarters and headquarters battalion, two armored brigade combat teams, one National Guard infantry brigade combat team, a task force unit, one aviation brigade, a division artillery, a sustainment brigade and a combat sustainment support battalion along with a maneuver enhancement brigade. The division has a distinguished history, having seen active service in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Global War on Terror. The Medal of Honor has been awarded to 60 members of the 3rd Infantry Division, making the division the most honored in the Army.
V Corps, formerly known as the Fifth Corps, is a regular corps of the United States Army at Fort Knox. It was previously active during World War I, World War II, Cold War, Kosovo, and the War on Terrorism.
The 36th Infantry Division ("Arrowhead"), also known as the "Panther Division", "Lone Star Division", "The Texas Army", or the "T-patchers", is an infantry division of the United States Army and part of the Texas Army National Guard. It was organized during World War I from units of the Texas and Oklahoma National Guard. It was reactivated for service for World War II 25 November 1940, was sent to the European Theater of Operations in April 1943, and returned to the Texas Army National Guard in December 1945.
The 1st Infantry Division is a combined arms division of the United States Army, and is the oldest continuously serving division in the Regular Army. It has seen continuous service since its organization in 1917 during World War I. It was officially nicknamed "The Big Red One" after its shoulder patch and is also nicknamed "The Fighting First." The division has also received troop monikers of "The Big Dead One" and "The Bloody First" as puns on the respective officially sanctioned nicknames. It is currently based at Fort Riley, Kansas.

The 1st Infantry has fought in seven wars from the Civil War to the Global War on Terrorism and has been awarded 19 Presidential Unit Citations, five Valorous Unit Awards, a Joint Meritorious Unit Award, two citations in the Order of the Day of the Belgian Army, Nine Republic of Vietnam Crosses of Gallantry, the Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Honor Medal Third Class, a Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Belgian Fourragere.
V Corps Artillery was a field artillery formation of the United States Army during World War II, Cold War, and War on Terrorism. It was officially inactivated in July 2007 at Tompkins Barracks, Schwetzingen, Germany.
The 16th Sustainment Brigade is a sustainment brigade of the United States Army based at Smith Barracks in Baumholder, Germany. It is a subordinate unit of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command of the Seventh Army.

The 212th Fires Brigade is an artillery brigade in the United States Army. It was based at Fort Bliss, Texas and was a subordinate unit of III Corps.
The 75th Field Artillery Brigade is an artillery brigade in the United States Army. It is currently based in Fort Sill, Oklahoma and supports the III Corps. The brigade is officially tasked to train and prepares for combat; on orders deploys to any area of operations to plan, synchronize and execute combined, and joint fires and effects. Integrate attached ground and air maneuver forces and on order function as a maneuver headquarters in support of full spectrum operations.
The 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment is a United States Army combined arms battalion and part of the 3rd Infantry Division based at Fort Stewart, Georgia. 3–69 AR was the first conventional US unit to enter Iraq in 2003, and among the first units to serve four tours in Iraq. Throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom 3–69 AR was featured several times on CNN, ABC News, and the PBS documentary Back to the Front detailing the deployment of Sgt Michael Murphy. The unit was first made famous for taking the Baghdad International Airport in 2003.
The 793rd Military Police Battalion was a battalion-sized unit in the United States Army stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska. The battalion was responsible for all Regular Army Military Police units and operations in Germany and eventually in the state of Alaska.
The 41st Field Artillery Regiment is a field artillery regiment of the United States Army.
The 76th Field Artillery Regiment is a field artillery regiment of the United States Army. First formed as a cavalry regiment in 1916, the regiment was converted to field artillery in 1917, and served in Europe during World War I with the 3rd Division and as a separate battalion during World War II, as well as in peacetime at Fort Knox, KY, and Fort Devens, MA. Since 1959, the regiment has been a parent regiment under the Combat Arms Regimental System and the U.S. Army Regimental System, with regimental elements serving with the 3rd Infantry Division in Germany and Operation Iraqi Freedom, with the 7th Infantry Division in Korea, and in the Army Reserve. No regimental elements are currently active.

The 4th Battalion of the 27th Field Artillery Regiment is a mechanized artillery battalion stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. One of five combat battalions assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team (1AD), 4-27 FA currently fields approximately 600 artillery and support personnel, operating self-propelled M109A6 howitzers, and providing direct fire support to the brigade.
The 1st Battalion, 76th Field Artillery Regiment is an inactive field artillery battalion of the United States Army. The battalion has been assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division, 7th Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Brigade, and as a separate field artillery battalion. The battalion has participated in World War I, World War II, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. The battalion inactivated in 2015 as part of Army force reductions.
