Raúl Alejandro Escajadillo Peña, known by his stage name, Aleks Syntek, is a Mexican singer and songwriter. He has earned nine nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards, a Grammy nomination, five nominations for the MTV Latin Awards, and is the winner of three Latin Billboard awards. He has also received an Ariel award from the Cinametografia Mexican Academy for Best Film Music.

Selena ¡Vive! was a benefit concert which was held on the tenth anniversary of the death of Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. The concert was held on April 7, 2005 at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas with over 70,000 attendees. The special was produced and filmed by the Spanish language network, Univision, and was the most-watched special in the Spanish language in the history of American television. Event host Univision announced that proceeds from "¡Selena Vive!" will go toward 10 scholarships for students looking to pursue higher education at Texas universities.

Un Lucero en la México is Lucero's first ever live recording. Recorded during her 1999 concert in "La Plaza de Toros", Mexico. The album was a 2 disc release, with the first being the Pop/Ballad Music, and the second disc, all the mariachi songs. It was released on 18 November 1999. The sales eventually led to a gold status in Mexico.

Chiquilladas is a Mexican sketch and musical show that used only children as actors. First aired on Mexican television in 1982, it ran until 1993. During its run it was the first to showcase various Mexican artists including Carlos Espejel, Pierre Angelo, Aleks Syntek, Lucero and Anahí.
