8stops7 are a rock band from Ventura, California.
8stops7 formed in Ventura, California, in 1996. The band's unusual name is the result of some intentionally vague number symbolism. According to band members, the "8" in 8STOPS7 resembles the infinity symbol, while the number seven represents a host of unpleasant, limiting things like the seven days of the week, the seven years of bad luck, and seven plagues. Said vocalist Evan Sula-Goff, "Basically, seven is a symbol of something you want to get away from, and eight is the door you go through to get there." [2]
After self-releasing their first self-produced album Birth Of A Cynic, the band signed with Warner Bros. Records/Reprise Records under the Warner Music Group umbrella in 1999 through their manager.
Their second album In Moderation was produced by Toby Wright (KoRn, Alice In Chains, Sevendust) and included re-recordings of four songs from the previous album. Two of the songs from In Moderation, "Satisfied", and "My Would-be Savior", were featured on the soundtrack of the Sony PlayStation game Street Sk8er 2. "Satisfied" was also featured in the Sony PlayStation 2 game Gran Turismo 3 and on its soundtrack. The video for "Satisfied" was featured on the MTV show 120 Minutes . "Question Everything" was featured on the Friends Again Soundtrack with other artists featured on the Friends NBC sitcom. Apple placed the music video for Question Everything on the Mac OS 9.1 CD, and later included a high-quality mp3 copy of the song to demo the new digital speakers included with the PowerMac G4 Cube. To date, In Moderation has sold more than 400,000 copies, enjoyed widespread national radio airplay, and spawned two hits that landed on three different Billboard charts.
In 2002, when Time Warner, the parent company of 8Stops7's record label, merged with AOL, every artist who hadn't sold 1 million albums in the previous year was dropped with a promise of being re-signed in 2003. [3] The rumor that Warner did not want to deal with the band's manager anymore turned out to be false. Due to new politics, new executives and new opinions, the band was not re-signed. Because of the manager and agency's continued faith and belief in the band they continued to tour and be booked by the William Morris Agency with the hopes to secure another deal. The band spent the next few years working to separate themselves from their manager to accomplish their new goals. [3]
After raising money from fans through the pledgemusic.com website, [4] the band released their fourth album Fables on February 8, 2012. [5] The album's first single is titled "The Sting". On their official Facebook page in 2012 the separation of Alex Viveros as bassist of the band was announced, being replaced by the current bassist Cory Tarallo.

The current line-up consists of all four original members, singer Evan Sula-Goff, guitarist Seth Watson, bassist Cory Tarallo, and percussionist Adam Powell along with guitarist Rodney Amieva. On February 24, 2015, the band uploaded a video to their networks of about 8 seconds of a very small fragment of a track from a new song that was there. recorded at that time. On April 1, 2017, the band announced they had been signed by Wendigo records and were slated to enter the studio in July to record a new yet unnamed record. Between the months of May, June and July of 2017 they published that they had already written 9 songs in total.
On their Genius profile, they updated their bio by posting the following: "At the beginning of this 2023 some songs have been recorded but they are not yet completely finished."

Lillix was a pop rock band from Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada, formed in 1997 when the early members were in high school. The band was originally an all-girl group under the name Tigerlily composed of guitarist Tasha-Ray Evin, keyboardist Lacey-Lee Evin, bassist Louise Burns, and drummer Sierra Hills. In 2001 the band was signed by Maverick Records and changed their name to Lillix as there was another band called Tigerlily. Hills left in 2002 and was replaced by Kim Urhahn, and later by Alicia Warrington, a future WWE NXT ring announcer under the name Alicia Taylor. Urhahn has been among a rare group of left-handed female drummers. The band was considered on hiatus from late 2006 through 2009 due to the folding of their label, Maverick Records, and officially disbanded after the release of their independent third album in 2010. Their debut album Falling Uphill was an international success, selling more than half a million copies worldwide.
Revis is an American post-grunge band from Carbondale, Illinois. They released one major label album, Places for Breathing, in 2003 before disbanding in 2005. After a five-year hiatus, the band reformed in 2010 and began work on a follow-up EP, Fire and Ice. The sessions were so prolific that the project turned into a full album release with a new name, now titled Do We Have to Beg?. The album was completed and scheduled for release on May 20, 2011, however, "legal issues" and internal disagreements with their record label kept them from releasing the album, quietly delaying it days before release. The band initially announced plans to re-record the entire album without the help of a label, but after a quiet year with few updates, the band announced they had broken up in May 2012, without any plans on releasing the album outside of a few songs that had been released previously for promotional purposes. Their best known song is "Caught in the Rain" which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart in 2003 after appearing on the soundtrack of the film Daredevil.

The music was written by band-leader and pianist Stony Browder Jr. and John Schonberger, Richard Coburn (né Frank Reginald DeLong; 1886–1952), and Vincent Rose; with lyrics by Browder Jr.'s brother and bassist August Darnell. The song's full title is "Whispering"/"Cherchez La Femme"/"Se Si Bon" [sic]. "Cherchez La Femme" became the group's biggest hit.

In Moderation is the second studio album by 8stops7 and the major label debut for the band. Four songs on this album were re-released and had been included on the band's debut album, Birth of a Cynic. Their initial release on Birth of a Cynic fell below expectations with only 2,000 albums being produced and no songs from it being issued as a single.
Bend is the third studio album from the American hard rock band 8stops7 and the follow up to their previous, and most successful release, In Moderation.
Brandon Paak Anderson, better known by his stage name Anderson .Paak, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and drummer. He released his debut mixtape, O.B.E. Vol. 1 in 2012 and went on to release his debut album Venice in 2014. In 2016 he followed up with Malibu, which received a nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the Grammy Awards, followed by Oxnard, in 2018. At the 61st Grammy Awards, Paak won his first Grammy award for Best Rap Performance with the song "Bubblin". He won two more Grammy Awards in 2020 for Best R&B Album with Ventura and for Best R&B Performance for "Come Home".
