A. Film Production A/S (previously A. Film A/S, A. Film ApS and A. Film I/S) is a Danish animation studio and production company currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Affiliated to the Copenhagen studio are A. Film Estonia located in Estonia and A. Film L.A., Inc. in Southern California. It produces traditional and CGI animation for feature films, television, advertising and games. The studio's notable original features include Checkered Ninja , Help! I'm a Fish , Jungledyret Hugo and Terkel in Trouble . [1] A pig serves as a mascot to said company.
The studio was founded on 1 August 1988 by animators Stefan Fjeldmark, Karsten Kiilerich, Jørgen Lerdam and Hans Perk and producer Anders Mastrup [2] who met while working on the 1986 film Valhalla based on the Danish comics of the same name, and was originally headquartered at Tagensvej 85 in Copenhagen. In 1995, the Danish media corporation Egmont purchased 50% of A. Film and moved A. Film under the umbrella of its film division, Nordisk Film. Stefan Fjeldmark left A. Film in 2008 to pursue a career in live-action. Several animators who began their careers at A. Film became well established at the Disney and DreamWorks studios. Since about 1995, the company's logo is a grinning pig, designed by Finn Skovgaard.
In 2010, A. Film A/S split into two companies: A. Film Production A/S which continues independent film production and is now located at Dannebrogsgade 1 in Copenhagen, and A. Film A/S under Nordisk Film which manages the rights of the earlier productions. The A. Film group of companies, with A. Film Production A/S as its base, includes the independent studios A. Film Eesti in Tallinn, Estonia (est. 1994) and A. Film L.A., Inc. in Los Angeles, California (est. 2008). In Berlin, Germany, A. Film used to be part of the studio Friendly Fritz. It previously owned studios in Riga, Latvia (2002–2010) and Munich, Germany (2006–2009). The A. Film companies also worked as a subcontractor on 28 films including FernGully: The Last Rainforest , Hans Christian Andersen's Thumbelina , Asterix Conquers America , The Little Punker , The Secret Weapon, Once Upon a Forest , Felidae , Balto , The Iron Giant , The Princess and the Goblin (1993), Tarzan II , The Jungle Book 2 , Curious George , The Pebble and the Penguin , A Troll in Central Park , All Dogs Go To Heaven 2 , Quest for Camelot and Eight Crazy Nights . In 2007, A. Film A/S provided services on Disney's Goofy: How to Hook Up Your Home Theater .
A. Film Production A/S has recently released several feature films including Niko 2: Little Brother, Big Trouble, Albert, Alfie Atkins: Hocus Pocus and the stop-motion film Miffy the Movie .

Alfie Atkins is a fictional character created by the author Gunilla Bergström from Sweden in 1972. Alfie Atkins appears in books and animated cartoons. Alfie plays the role of a normal child, living with his father. During his younger years he had an imaginary friend named Malcolm, that only Alfie could see. Later, he gets real friends such as Milla and Victor (Viktor). He also has a housecat named Puzzle (Pussel).
Hanho Heung-Up Co., Ltd. (한호흥업㈜) is an animation service studio based in Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1984 by Steven Hahn, over the years the studio has produced animation for many of the industry’s leading SVOD, cable, and broadcast studios and distributors, including Disney, Warner Bros., Fox, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and others. Hanho has worked on dozens of TV-series and feature films, including: Alvin and the Chipmunks, Star Wars: Droids, The Real Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Bob's Burgers, Doug, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Magic School Bus, Turbo FAST, Paradise PD, and many more. In its native land, Hanho is best known for its work on ly, Superboard, which aired on the KBS network from 1990 to 2002.
Maipo Film is a Norwegian film production company founded in 2000. It created the Oscar-nominated film "Elling" (2001), starring Per Christian Ellefsen (Elling), Sven Nordin, Marit Pia Jacobsen (Reidun), Jørgen Langhelle and Per Christiansen, based on the novel "Brødre i Blodet" by Ingvar Ambjørnsen. Maipo followed the Elling success with a sequel and produced other feature films. Maipo won Best International Narrative Feature at Tribeca Festival 2024 with Bikechess.
Terkel in Trouble is a 2004 Danish adult animated musical comedy film starring Anders Matthesen. It is the first Danish computer animated feature film. The film is an adaptation of Matthesen's 2001 comedy album Arne fortæller... Terkel i knibe. Anders Matthesen voices almost all characters in the film. Terkel in Trouble was well received, and was a financial success, earning 17.9 million DKK on a 10 million DKK budget and becoming the seventh highest grossing film in Denmark in 2004. It received multiple accolades, including the Audience Award at the 22nd Robert Awards. Terkel in Trouble has been dubbed into multiple languages, including Norwegian, Swedish, German, Hungarian, Italian, Russian and Ukrainian. An English dub of the film produced by Anvil Studios was released by Eureka Entertainment in the United Kingdom on 1 September 2006.
Jungledyret Hugo is a Danish media franchise created by Flemming Quist Møller based on a lullaby he wrote for his son, and was later turned into a full-length animated feature, produced at A. Film. The franchise currently consists of two traditionally animated features, an animated television series, books, music album, and a third film animated in CGI.

She is best known for her series of children's books about the character Alfie Atkins, which she wrote and illustrated. Books about her character were translated into many languages, and some were adapted into film, television and theatre plays. She received several awards, including the royal Litteris et Artibus.
31 Nights of Halloween is an American seasonal programming block on Freeform. It originally began airing in 1998, after the Family Channel became Fox Family, and was continued through the channel's change into ABC Family, and later, Freeform. The 13 Days of Halloween block was created mainly due to the success of the channel's 25 Days of Christmas, which had started two years earlier. The special block lasted from October 19 until Halloween night, covering the thirteen days before the holiday. Starting in 2018, the program aired throughout the whole month of October.

It is a sequel to the 1993 film Hocus Pocus and the second installment in the Hocus Pocus franchise. The film stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Doug Jones reprising their roles. Sam Richardson, Whitney Peak, Belissa Escobedo, Tony Hale, and Hannah Waddingham join the cast.

Hocus Pocus 2 (Original Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to the 2022 fantasy comedy film Hocus Pocus 2; a sequel to the 1993 film Hocus Pocus. John Debney, who scored for the first film, returned for the sequel in October 2021. The album consisted of 28 tracks: two original songs, seven adapted songs and Debney's score containing the remainder of it. It was digitally released by Walt Disney Records on September 30, 2022 (the same day on the film's Disney+ release), and was followed by a physical release on November 11.
