Andrew Sinft from Jesus Freak Hideout writes: "All in all, A Call to the Martyrs is a solid album and is a must have for any fan of metal or hardcore. Highlights include "Khampa Nomads," "A Walk Thru the Woods," and "Feed on the Weak" (which has an amazing breakdown). The biggest disappointment is the fact that other than a short acoustic track, the album is only eight songs long. Like the band, the album is strong but could have lasted longer." [1] Ben Lilford of Cross Rhythms rate the album eight out of ten, praising the lyricism and musicianship. The only downsides, according to Lilford, are the song titles and Kimbrough's spoken word sections. [2]

Audio Adrenaline is the debut studio album by the American Christian rock band of the same name. It was released on April 17, 1992. "My God" was one of the first songs recorded by the band, which caught the attention of ForeFront Records.

Poor Old Lu was a pioneering Christian alternative rock band based in the American Northwest. Mortal Treason is an American metalcore band from the Huntsville, Alabama area. Their first album A Call to the Martyrs was released in 2004. Then after major lineup changes, its second album Sunrise over a Sea of Blood was released in 2005. After a quick tour, Mortal Treason decided to disband. On December 8, 2014, most of the original members returned and are currently writing new material. The band is currently on a brief hiatus due to family issues.
