Andrew Sinft from Jesus Freak Hideout writes: "All in all, A Call to the Martyrs is a solid album and is a must have for any fan of metal or hardcore. Highlights include "Khampa Nomads," "A Walk Thru the Woods," and "Feed on the Weak" (which has an amazing breakdown). The biggest disappointment is the fact that other than a short acoustic track, the album is only eight songs long. Like the band, the album is strong but could have lasted longer." [1] Mortal Treason from Alabama have been around for about five years now, defying mainstream Christian music tastes with their growing hardcore fanbase and passion for preaching Christ's salvation through music that's harder than a bag of your Gran's favourite mints. Lead vocalist Seth has been compared a couple of times to Cory Darst (ex-lead vocalist of Zao) in his approach to vocal sound and style, which can never be a bad thing, though when he occasionally speaks during the tracks he can sound a little two dimensional and uninspiring. This is only Mortal Treason's first album (a second is due soon) but their musicianship is already of fantastic standard. Every guitar riff worth bottling and surprising your pastor with on a Sunday morning. My only gripe is of Seth's unimaginative song titles, his lyrics are quite good but he needs some tips from Bloodlined Calligraphy's Ally French on what he calls the tracks. [2]

The Weak's End is the debut studio album by American post-hardcore band Emery. The original release was released on January 15, 2004, with the re-issued version released on January 27, 2004. Most of the albums available are labeled the re-released version, in which the title of track 6 is changed. Although the two albums look different, the actual songs themselves are very similar.

The album would later be reissued with new artwork on the band's new label, Solid State Records.
His Last Walk is the debut full-length album by American metalcore band Blessthefall, released April 10, 2007. It is the only studio album by the band to feature original vocalist Craig Mabbitt, who would later be replaced by Beau Bokan. The album was released before Blessthefall started to play on the Taste of Chaos tour. The last song, "His Last Walk", features a hidden track called "Purple Dog", which is a joke song made by the band members in which all members sing the song and clap their hands.
Mortal Treason is an American metalcore band from the Huntsville, Alabama area. Their first album A Call to the Martyrs was released in 2004. Then after major lineup changes, its second album Sunrise over a Sea of Blood was released in 2005. After a quick tour, Mortal Treason decided to disband. On December 8, 2014, most of the original members returned and are currently writing new material. The band is currently on a brief hiatus due to family issues.
In the Hands of God is the thirteenth studio album by Christian band Newsboys. It was released on 5 May 2009, being the last album the band released before the departure of singer and founding member Peter Furler. XXI is an American Christian metal band that also takes influences from Alternative metal and Post-hardcore. They come from Carrollton, Kentucky, where they were formed in 2010, with lead vocalist Eric Gentry. Eric's death in 2014 was the reasoning behind the band's name change, with 'XXI' being Eric's age at the time of his death. Their first extended play, Hell on Earth, was released in 2014, shortly before Eric's death, and under their former name. The debut studio album, Inside Out, was released with Carson Butcher as lead vocalist on Tooth & Nail Records in 2015. This album was their breakthrough album on both the Billboard magazine Christian Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts.
