A Honduran-American coproduction, A Place in the Caribbean was filmed in 2016 in Roatán, Honduras and Los Angeles. [5]

Synopsis

On the Caribbean resort island of Roatán, a group of people seek love, but their pasts threaten to catch up with them. [6]

The film had its Honduran premiere on 23 March 2017. [7] It was praised by local newspaper El Heraldo as the first Honduran romance film of genuine quality. [8]

Roddy Alfredo Pérez Valerio, known professionally as Roddy Pérez is a film and music producer, director, actor and scriptwriter. Pompeyo del Valle was a Honduran poet and journalist. De Valle was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on October 26, 1928. Son of Carlos del Valle y Soldevilla and Carmen Moncada Rivera, he was born and raised at his maternal grandmother's house in the neighborhood La Ronda, close to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the City Hall. Del Valle made his debut as a journalist in the pages of political newspapers such as, El chilío, Worker’s Voice, Alliance of Democratic Youth, among others. After many adventures and misadventures, Del Valle became involved with the drafting of two major national newspapers at the time, El Cronista and El Día. Sinfonia Latina is a Colombian rock concert and music festival. It was named after the opus Sinfonia Latina , which was subsequently transformed into a festival. The first concert occurred on May 7, 1976, at 8 PM in Barranquilla, Colombia at the municipal theater "Amira de la Rosa". The event attracted audiences of 3,000 inside the structure. An estimated 4,000 people remained outside unable to enter the theater under construction. The Disciplina Tour was the fifth concert tour by Argentine singer Lali. The tour saw multiple songs performed for the first time live, including those from her fourth studio album, Libra (2020) and songs belonging to her fifth studio album, Lali (2023), such as "Disciplina", "Diva" and "N5". It began on 23 June 2022 and it travelled across Latin America, Europe and Asia, concluding on 8 April 2023.

Miss Colombia 2024 will be the 70th Miss Colombia pageant, to be held at the Julio Cesar Turbay Auditorium in Cartagena, Colombia.
