The second season of the Seven Network television series A Place to Call Home premiered on 11 May 2014 and concluded on 13 July 2014.
On 15 July 2013, Channel Seven released an announcement which confirmed that A Place to Call Home had been commissioned for a second season, set to air in May 2014. [1] Brad Lyons, the Director of Network Production at Seven stated, "A Place to Call Home has showcased drama on a scale never seen before on Australian television. It's pleasing to see such an ambitious production receive the acclaim it deserves." [2]
Pre-production for season 2 began in August 2013. [3] Filming for the second season began in September 2013 and wrapped in December 2013. [3] [4]
In June 2014, Glen Williams from TV Week reported that Channel Seven had passed on the option to renew the series and had recently told the cast and crew they would not be required for a third season. [5] Due to this, the last episode of season two had to be hastily rewritten and filmed to accommodate the cancellation and tie up any loose storylines. [5] However, on 25 October 2014, it was announced the show was to be revived by Foxtel for at least two more seasons. [6] Due to the revival, the original ending was aired later to give the original lead-in to season three. [7]

Amy Polson was originally played by Krew Boylan, however due to scheduling issues, the role is now played by Amy Mathews. [8] Sara Wiseman and Matt Levett, who portray Carolyn Bligh and Andrew Swanson respectively, have both been promoted to the main cast. [8] Jenni Baird and Deborah Kennedy, who portray Regina Standish and Doris Collins respectively, will both return for season two. [9]

Anna's tainted honeymoon continues when she decides to read the letter Andrew delivers, and learns the truth about Olivia and James' son. Elizabeth decides to leave Ash Park, and does so after farewelling her family. George heads out on horseback, closely followed by Regina, when René heads out with a shotgun. Sarah emerges from the shower, to a gunshot, and finds a shocked René, a gun-wielding Regina and an unconscious George lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Australian Survivor is an Australian adventure reality game show based on the international Survivor format. Following the premise of other versions of the Survivor format, the show features a group of contestants, referred to as "castaways" as they are marooned in an isolated location. The castaways must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in various challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted off the island by their fellow castaways. The final castaway remaining is awarded the title of "Sole Survivor" and the grand prize of A$500,000.
The Farmer Wants a Wife is an Australian reality television series based on the British reality show Farmer Wants a Wife. The first eight seasons, hosted by Natalie Gruzlewski, aired on the Nine Network between 2007 and 2012, with a ninth season, hosted by Sam McClymont broadcast in 2016. A tenth season aired on the Seven Network when the series was revived for the second time in 2020.

The series serves as a contemporary reimagining of Prisoner, which ran on Network Ten from 1979 to 1986. Lara Radulovich and David Hannam developed Wentworth from Reg Watson's original concept. The series is set in the modern day and initially focuses on Bea Smith's early days in prison and her subsequent rise to the top of the prison's hierarchy. From the fifth season onward, the series shifted to emphasize more of an ensemble format.
The third season of the television drama series Winners & Losers was aired in three parts on the Seven Network in Australia. Season 3A – comprising 13 episodes – aired from 9 July to 25 September 2013 while Season 3B – comprising 13 episodes – aired from 28 January to 24 June 2014, before the immediate start of season 4. It replaced Packed to the Rafters due to the series ending. Season three follows the lives of Jenny, Bec, Sophie and Frances four months on from the death of Bec's husband Matt. A Place to Call Home is an Australian television drama series, created by Bevan Lee for the Seven Network, which premiered in 2013. Set in rural New South Wales after World War II, it follows Sarah Adams, who has returned to Australia after twenty years abroad to start a new life and ends up clashing with wealthy matriarch Elizabeth Bligh. The main cast also includes Brett Climo, Craig Hall, David Berry, Abby Earl, Arianwen Parkes-Lockwood, Aldo Mignone, Sara Wiseman, Jenni Baird, Tim Draxl, and Frankie J. Holden. The show was cancelled after its second season, but obtained further funding and concluded successfully after a total of six seasons in 2018.

It was available, at the time of closure, through the Foxtel and FetchTV platforms in Australia. It was available on the Sky platform in New Zealand, from April 2002 until 15 January 2023. It was also available on the Austar service prior to 2012. In 2014, it became available on Australian streaming service Foxtel Play.
