A Woman's Heart is the fourth compilation album and the second of lesser known songs by American country music artist Crystal Gayle. It was released in November 1980 via Liberty Records and was produced by Allen Reynolds. The album consisted of songs originally included on Gayle's studio albums during her recording period with United Artists Records (later re-titled Liberty Records). It was one of several compilation albums released by the label that contained Gayle's material.
A Woman's Heart contained ten tracks of previously recorded material. Of the ten songs, only two were previously released as singles ("This Is My Year for Mexico" and "One More Time") while the remaining songs had been included on Gayle's studio albums. [1] "Hands" and the title track were originally recorded on Gayle's self-titled studio album (1975). [2] "Let's Do It Right" was first included on Gayle's third studio album, Crystal (1976). [3] "Make a Dream Come True" was the seventh track on her fourth studio album, We Must Believe in Magic (1977). [4]
A Woman's Heart was originally released in November 1980 via Liberty Records. The album was issued as both a vinyl LP and an audio cassette. [5] A Woman's Heart peaked in the fortieth position on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in 1981. It did not spawn any singles or any other major releases. [6]

Crystal Gayle is an American country music singer widely known for her 1977 hit "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue". Initially, Gayle's management and record label were the same as that of her oldest sister, Loretta Lynn. Not finding success with the arrangement after several years, and with Lynn's encouragement, Gayle decided to try a different approach. She signed a new record contract and began recording with Nashville producer Allen Reynolds. Gayle's new sound was sometimes referred to as middle-of-the-road (MOR) or country pop, and was part of a bigger musical trend by many country artists of the 1970s to appeal to a wider audience. Subsequently, Gayle became one of the most successful crossover artists of the 1970s and 80s. She is known for her floor-length hair.
We Must Believe in Magic is the fourth studio album by American country music singer Crystal Gayle. Released on June 24, 1977, it became her highest selling album, reaching #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and #12 on the main Billboard album chart. It was certified platinum by the RIAA in 1978. The album also has the distinction of being the first platinum album recorded by a female artist in country music. It was also Gayle's first album to chart in the UK, where it reached #15, and was certified silver by the BPI. In the Netherlands, it stayed on the charts for two weeks and peaked at #29.

Right in the Middle of It is a studio album by American country artist Chely Wright. The album was released January 9, 1996 on PolyGram/Mercury Records and contained 11 tracks. The album was co-produced by Ed Seay and Harold Shedd. Although critically acclaimed, the album was not successful. Three of its singles charted in lower-end positions on the North American country charts, which later influenced Wright to leave the label.
