Aaron Bouwman (born 28 August 2007) is a Dutch professional football player who plays as a centre-back for Eerste Divisie club Jong Ajax.
Bouwman is a product of the youth academies of RKVV DSS, Koninklijke HFC and Ajax. He made his professional debut with Jong Ajax in a 1–1 Eerste Divisie tie with Roda on 26 April 2024. [2] In the summer of 2024, he was called up to the pre-season training camp with the senior Ajax squad. [3] On 30 May 2024, he signed his first professional contract with Ajax until 2027. [4] In the summer of 2025, he again joined Ajax for the preseason training camp. [5]
Bouwman was born in the Netherlands to a Dutch father and Jamaican-English mother. [6] [7] [8] He holds dual Dutch and British citizenship. [9] In February 2022, he received his first call-up to the Netherlands U15s for a set of friendlies. [10] In October 2023, he was called up to another set of friendlies. [11] In October 2024, he was called up to the Netherlands U18s for a training camp. [12]
