Subang Jaya is a city in Petaling District,Selangor,Malaysia. It comprises the southern third district of Petaling. It consists of the neighbourhoods from SS12 to SS19,UEP Subang Jaya (USJ),Putra Heights,Batu Tiga as well as PJS7,PJS9 and PJS11 of Bandar Sunway,the latter of which are partially jurisdictional within Petaling Jaya under the MBPJ. The city is governed by Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ),which also governs other areas of the Petaling district,such as Puchong and Seri Kembangan. He also served as the 1st and founding Deputy President of AMANAH from September 2015 and State Chairman of PH of Johor from September 2022 to his death in July 2023. A by-election was held on 8 September 2018 for the Selangor State Legislative Assembly seat of Balakong. The seat became vacant after the death of the incumbent assemblyman,Eddie Ng Tien Chee on 20 July 2018 in a traffic accident on the Cheras–Kajang Expressway. Eddie Ng was a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP),a component party of the state ruling Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. This was the second casual vacancy in the Assembly since the May 2018 general election after Sungai Kandis,which held a by-election in August 2018. The by-election will be held on the same day as the Seri Setia by-election. In the last 2018 general election,Ng defeated Barisan Nasional (BN)'s Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) candidate,Lim Chin Wah and Mohamad Ibrahim Ghazali of Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),with a vote majority of 35,538.

He is also the son of Ean Yong Tin Sin,the former MLA of Negeri Sembilan for Lukut.
Danial Al Rashid bin Haron Aminar Rashid is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Batu Tiga since August 2023. He served as the Special Officer to former Member of the Selangor State Executive Council (EXCO) and former MLA for Seri Serdang Siti Mariah Mahmud,Head of the Selangor Special Children Department (ANIS) and Head of the Selangor Children Heritage Department from 2020 to 2023 as well as Member of the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) from August 2018 to December 2020. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has also served as the Deputy Youth Chief of AMANAH since December 2023 and the State Youth Chief of PH and AMANAH of Selangor from 2019 to 2023. He is the second son of former actor and comedian Harun Salim Bachik.
