The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, weightlifting and korfball (demonstration) events. Following the Olympics it was converted to a football stadium. Its current tenant is K Beerschot VA, a Belgian football club. There are no remnants of the Olympic athletics track.

Abdoulaye Seye was a Senegalese sprinter. He competed for France at the 1960 Olympics in the 100 m, 200 m and 4 × 100 m relay events and won a bronze medal in the 200 m. Although Senegal had received its independence from France two months ahead of the Olympics as part of the short-lived Mali Federation, in 1960 it still competed as part of France. Seye also won the 100 m gold medal at the 1959 Mediterranean Games.
Senegal has sent athletes to all Summer Olympic Games held since 1964. Unlike most surrounding nations, Senegal has never missed any Summer Olympics since its independence. Only once has the country won an Olympic medal: Amadou Dia Ba, who won a silver medal in the men's 400 metre hurdles in 1988. However, Abdoulaye Seye, representing France, won a bronze medal in the 200 metres in 1960, just two months after the short lived Mali Federation gained independence and a few days after Senegal seceded from the federation. Senegal will host the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics in Dakar.

Moustapha Abdoulaye Hima is a Nigerien boxer. He competed for Niger in the 2012 Summer Olympics as a welterweight. Abdoulaye Hima was Niger's flag bearer in the opening ceremony. On 29 July Abdoulaye Hima lost a 6-13 points decision in the Round of 32 to Cameron Hammond of Australia.
Abdoulaye Thiam is a Senegalese sabre fencer. Thiam represented Senegal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed in the men's individual sabre event, along with his teammate Mamadou Keita. He lost the first preliminary round match to U.S. fencer Jason Rogers, with a score of 10–15.
