Hamza Yusuf is an American Islamic neo-traditionalist, Islamic scholar, and co-founder of Zaytuna College. He is a proponent of classical learning in Islam and has promoted Islamic sciences and classical teaching methodologies throughout the world.
The Al-Azhar University is a public university in Cairo, Egypt. Associated with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Islamic Cairo, it is Egypt's oldest degree-granting university and is known as one of the most prestigious universities for Islamic learning. He was also known for IslamOnline, a website he helped to found in 1997 and for which he served as chief religious scholar.
The European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) is a Dublin-based private foundation, founded in London on 29–30 March 1997 on the initiative of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe. The council is a largely self-selected body, composed of Islamic clerics and scholars, presided over by Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

Muhammad Ayyub ibn Muhammad Yusuf ibn Sulaiman `Umar was a Saudi Arabian Imam, Qari, and Islamic scholar known for his recitation of the Quran. He was an Imam of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia. He was also a faculty member of the Department of Tafsir in the Faculty of the Holy Qur'an and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah and a member of the Scholarly Committee of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran. Wahbah Mustafa al-Zuhayli born in Dair Atiah, Syria was a Syrian professor and Islamic scholar specializing in Islamic law and legal philosophy. He was also a preacher at Badr Mosque in Dair Atiah. He was the author of scores of books on Islamic and secular law, many of which have been translated to English. He was chairman of Islamic jurisprudence in the College of Sharia at Damascus University, and a signatory to the Amman Message and A Common Word documents.
A misyar marriage is a type of marriage contract allowed by some Sunni Muslims. Muhammād Al-Hasān bin Al-Deddew Al-Shanqītī born 31 October 1963 in Boutilimit, is a Mauritanian Muslim scholar, author, writer, and poet. He is the President of O'lama Information center, and the President of Abdallah ibn Yasin University. He is also head of the country's Center for the Development of Scholars. In 2014 he was the Vice President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, and he is still a member of it.
Ilham Al-Qaradawi is a Qatari professor of positron and radiation physics at Qatar University and adjunct professor of physics at Texas A&M University at Qatar. She was born on September 19, 1959, and is the daughter of the Egyptian Muslim scholar, Yusuf Al-Qaradawi.
