Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,formerly known as North West Frontier Province (NWFP),is a province of Pakistan. Located in the northwestern region of the country,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the fourth largest province of Pakistan by land area and the third-largest province by population. It is bordered by the Pakistani provinces of Balochistan to the south,Punjab to the south-east,the territory of Gilgit-Baltistan to the north and north-east,Islamabad Capital Territory to the east and Azad Kashmir to the north-east. It shares an international border with Afghanistan to the west. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has a varied landscape ranging from rugged mountain ranges,valleys,plains surrounded by hills,undulating submontane areas and dense agricultural farms.
The administrative units of Pakistan comprise four provinces,one federal territory,and two disputed territories:the provinces of Punjab,Sindh,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,and Balochistan;the Islamabad Capital Territory;and the administrative territories of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit–Baltistan. As part of the Kashmir conflict with neighbouring India,Pakistan has also claimed sovereignty over the Indian-controlled territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh since the First Kashmir War of 1947–1948,but has never exercised administrative authority over either region. All of Pakistan's provinces and territories are subdivided into divisions,which are further subdivided into districts,and then tehsils,which are again further subdivided into union councils.
Mansehra District is a district in the Hazara Division,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,northern Pakistan. Mansehra city serves as the headquarters of the district.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,is the provincial government of the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Its powers and structure are set out in the provisions of the 1973 Constitution,in which 32 districts come under its authority and jurisdiction. The head of the province is known as the Governor,appointed by the federal government,on behalf of the President,while the administrative boss of the province is Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Peshawar High Court is the provincial and highest judicial institution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. It is located in the provincial capital Peshawar. The Parliament passed a bill extending the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court (SC) and the Peshawar High Court to Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA),one of a handful of reforms paving the way for a merger of the tribal areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On 12 February 2024,he left the chairmanship of the PTI-P and took a break from politics tenders resignation as PTI-P chairman due to ‘health issues’.
Reham Nayyar Khan is a British-Pakistani journalist,author,and filmmaker from Baffa,Pakistan. She is a former wife of Imran Khan,who later became Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018,The publication of her memoir shortly before the 2018 Pakistani general election led to claims that its publication was intended to damage Imran Khan's electoral prospects. Khan married Mirza Bilal on 23 December 2022.

Babar Saleem Khan Swati is a Pakistani politician and landlord who is the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since 29 February,2024. He is member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the constituency PK -37 Mansehra -II. Previously,he was a member of the Provincial Assembly from 2018 to 2022 and served as Advisor to the Chief Minister on Home and Tribal Affairs from October 2022 till January 2023. He belongs to the Jehangiri family within the Swati tribe of Mansehra.
Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 8 February 2024 to elect members of the 12th Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. On 5 August 2023,the results of the 2023 digital census were approved by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Therefore,elections have been delayed for several months,as new delimitations will be published on 14 December 2023,as announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). On 2 November 2023,the ECP announced,in agreement with the President of Pakistan,Arif Alvi,that the elections would be held on 8 February 2024. This election was held concurrently with nationwide general elections and other provincial elections.
