The University of Ghana is a public university located in Accra,Ghana. It is the oldest public university in Ghana.
Prempeh College is a public secondary boarding school for boys located in Kumasi,the capital city of the Ashanti Region,Ghana. The school was founded in 1949 by the Asanteman traditional authority,the British Colonial Government,the Methodist Church Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The school is named after the King of Ashanti (Asantehene),Sir Osei Tutu Agyeman Prempeh II,who donated the land on which the school was built,and was modeled on Eton College in England.

Marian Ewurama Addy was a Ghanaian biochemist and the first Host of the National Science and Maths Quiz. The first Ghanaian woman to attain the rank of full professor of natural science,Addy became a role model for school girls and budding female scientists on the limitless opportunities in science,technology,engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Marian Addy was also a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences,elected in 1999. In the same year,she was awarded the UNESCO Kalinga Prize for the Popularization of Science.
The University of Professional Studies,Accra (UPSA) formerly known as the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS),is a public university in Ghana. The main campus is located in Accra. UPSA is the first university in Ghana to provide both academic and business professional education. The University of Professional Studies Act,2012 (Act 850) changed the name of the Institute of Professional Studies to University of Professional Studies,Accra. UPSA is nationally and internationally accredited by the National Accreditation Board (Ghana) and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP),respectively.
St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School is a Ghanaian public day senior high school for boys in the Osu district of Accra in the Greater Accra Region. It was established in 1952. The school is currently located in Cantonments,a suburb of Accra. It was established to provide education for boys of the Accra Archdiocese of the Catholic church whose parents could not afford the cost of sending their male children to expensive boarding schools.

Joshua Alabi is a Ghanaian academic and politician,who served as the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies,Accra (UPSA) from 2012 to 2016. He previously served as the Rector of the same institution from 2009 to 2012 and Pro-Rector from 2005 to 2008. In Ghanaian politics,Alabi was the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for the Krowor Constituency in the Greater Accra from 1997 to 2001 and Minister of State for the Greater Accra and the Northern Regions respectively from 1997 to 2001.

George Kwabena Effah Benneh was a Ghanaian geographer,academic and university administrator who served as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana,Legon from 1992 to 1996. He was a professor and later an emeritus professor of Geography and Resource Development at the same university. Benneh was Minister of Lands,Natural Resources,Fuel and Power from 1979 to May 1981 and Minister of Finance from May 1981 to December 1981 under Hilla Limann during the Third Republic. She is the President of Laweh Open University which happens to be the first accredited Open University College in Ghana established in 2014.
Francisca Dora Edu-Buandoh is a Ghanaian professor of English and the first female Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast. Her appointment was made at the 99th Governing Council Meeting of UCC that was held on 23 November 2018. She took over from Prof. George K.T Oduro whose term of office expired on 13 December 2018.
Ogechi Adeola is a Nigerian business studies academic. She is the associate dean of business administration at the University of the People and associate professor of marketing at the Lagos Business School. In January,2024. She was elected the Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Kigali,Rwanda.
