Abigail (full name Abigail Zsiga) is an English electronic music artist. She first came into the limelight with the song "I Feel You", released in 1992. [1]

Career

Abigail has released hi-NRG covers of popular songs on both sides of the Atlantic. Some of those are k.d. lang's "Constant Craving", R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", which peaked at No. 29 on the UK Singles Chart. [2] Abigail's debut album, Feel Good was released in 1995, on the UK based label, Klone Records. The latter also became a top 40 club hit for Rozalla in 1995. Abigail's 1999 hit single, "Let the Joy Rise", was produced by the production duo Thunderpuss. In 2000, she hit No. 1[ citation needed ] on the Billboard Dance chart with her song "If It Don't Fit", also produced by Thunderpuss. She had a second No. 1 Dance hit in 2001[ citation needed ] with "You Set Me Free". In 2003, Abigail released "Falling" which peaked at No. 9[ citation needed ]. After "Falling", she released "Songbird" which was remixed by DJ DoNut and was available as a digital download. After this, Abigail decided it was time for a change and added her last name to her recordings.

She released the album Home...Again in 2005.

In 2006, she lent her vocals to the 10 Monkeys' album Lay Down. Then in 2009, she was featured on DJ Bill Bennett's album, Forever Young.

Her 2010 album Be Still My Soul is a collection of hymns including "Amazing Grace", "How Great Thou Art" and "Be Still My Soul".

In 2013, she made a return to the dance scene with "Surrender" with Bouvier & Barona after a brief hiatus.

Abigail is also a supporter of the international human rights organisation, Love146.

It was released by Magnet and Sire in October 1994 as the first single from the singer's debut solo album, Deadline for My Memories (1995). Written by Martin and David Harrow, it received critical acclaim and is known to be one of her most notable singles. It was produced by English electronic dance group the Grid and was originally released on October 31. DJ Jackie Christie is an American DJ, songwriter, and music producer based in New York City. She is well known for her work at MTV's The Grind and The Limelight in New York City. She began releasing singles in 1997, originally under the alias, Shine, and her first album, Made 4 U, in 2004. The first single, "Beautiful Day," charted at #14 on the Billboard Club Chart. She also released a #1 remix of Madonna's "Nothing Falls" as well as remixes of Yoko Ono's "Open Your Box" on Mind Train Records, and Kung Pow's "R U A DJ?" on Xtreme Records.
