Abraham Kanu (born 3 July 2005) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for EFL League One club Reading.

Career

On 13 September 2022, Reading announced that Kanu had signed his first professional club with the club. [1]

On 13 August 2024, Kanu made his professional debut for Reading in a 2–2 EFL Cup game with Colchester United. [2] Kanu started the game and played 34 minutes before being replaced by Tyler Bindon after picking up a booking and narrowly avoiding a second. Kanu made his league debut for Reading on 23 November 2024, coming on as a 68th minute substitute for Amadou Mbengue in a 2-1 away victory over Peterborough United. [3]
