Andrew Martin of PopMatters gave the album 7 stars out of 10, saying, "A few missteps aside, this record remains a refreshing and creative take on an experiment that could have easily failed." [3] Thomas Quinlan of Exclaim! said, "What really holds this album together is the live band feel that's also applied to the doo-wop and R&B choruses." [2] Mosi Reeves of Spin called it "one of the year's most unexpected hip-hop pleasures, with the Los Angeles MC switching gears from his inventive and hugely influential rapid-fire rhyme style." [4]

Edwin Maximilian "Eddie" Hayes, Jr., better known by his stage name Aceyalone, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, California, United States. He is a member of Freestyle Fellowship, Haiku D'Etat and The A-Team and a co-founder of Project Blowed. Aceyalone is best known for his role in evolving left-field hip-hop on the West Coast at a time when the West Coast was dominated by gangsta rap.
All Balls Don't Bounce is the debut studio album by American rapper Aceyalone. It was released in 1995 on Capitol Records. In 2004, it was re-released on Project Blowed and Decon as All Balls Don't Bounce: Revisited with a bonus disc. It was named by OC Weekly as one of the "Five Classic West Coast Rap Albums Turning 20 in 2015".
