Adam Russo (born April 12, 1983) is a Canadian/Italian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He participated at the 2010 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Italian National men's ice hockey team. [1]
Russo played major junior in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan for four seasons. In his first season, he was named to the All Rookie Team. In 2002–03, he tied Nick Sanza and Roberto Luongo for the league-record in single-season shutouts with seven. That same year, he won both the Jacques Plante trophy as best goaltender in the QMJHL and the CHL (Canadian Hockey League) Goaltender of the Year and was named to the First All-Star team at the Golden Puck Award banquet. [2] He holds the career season/playoff record for shutouts with a total of 23. He turned pro in 2004–05 overseas in the Italian Serie A with Alleghe HC and Asiago HC. He went on to also play for Torino, Merano and Bolzano HC where he won championships both years, before joining the French Ligue Magnus in 2008–09 with Tours where he was named to the French All-Star team. In 2009–10, he returned to North America to play in the IHL with the Port Huron Icehawks. At the end of the season he participated in the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships in Germany, where he played against both Team Canada and Team Latvia in the preliminary round. He then played for the Quad City Mallards during the 2010-2011 where he picked up Goalie Of the Week mentions a couple of times and repeated those honors the following season when he played for the Wichita Thunder. There he was a finalist for CHL Goaltender of the year. He was traded to the Arizona Sundogs of the CHL for the 2012–13 season.
On a side note, after his rookie season, he attended the Montreal Canadiens rookie camp, but missed out on a contract, and the year after he received his CHL Goalie of the Year award, he attended the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim pro camp where he did very well, but again, was not offered a deal. Before his season in 2009–2010 in Port Huron with the Icehawks, he also attended the Worcester Sharks training camp, farm team of the San Jose Sharks.

David Aebischer is a Swiss former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Avalanche, Montreal Canadiens and the Phoenix Coyotes. He was a member of the 2001 Stanley Cup champion Avalanche team, becoming the first Swiss native to achieve the feat. Aebischer also played several seasons in his native Switzerland with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, HC Lugano and the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers of the National League (NL).
Roberto Luongo is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 19 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Islanders, Florida Panthers, and Vancouver Canucks. In 2022, Luongo was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Luongo is a two-time NHL All-Star and winner of the William M. Jennings Trophy for backstopping his team to the lowest goals against average in the league. He was a finalist for several awards, including the Vezina Trophy as the league's best goaltender, the Lester B. Pearson Award as the top player voted by his peers, and the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's most valuable player (2007). Luongo is second all time in games played as an NHL goaltender (1,044) and fourth all time in wins (489). He employed the butterfly style of goaltending.
Yevgeni Viktorovich Nabokov is a Kazakhstani-Russian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played for the San Jose Sharks, New York Islanders, and Tampa Bay Lightning of National Hockey League (NHL) and for Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, Dynamo Moscow, Metallurg Magnitogorsk and SKA Saint Petersburg of the Russian Super League (RSL) and Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) from 1991 to 2015.

Corey Hirsch is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He spent the majority of his National Hockey League career with the Vancouver Canucks. He is also the former goaltending coach for the St. Louis Blues, having previously served the Toronto Maple Leafs along with François Allaire.
Vincent Joseph Riendeau is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. During his time in the National Hockey League, which lasted from 1987 to 1995, Riendeau played for the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings, and the Boston Bruins. Riendeau was the first Canadian and former NHL player to sign with a professional hockey team in the Russian Superleague. Ondřej Pavelec is a Czech former professional ice hockey goaltender. Drafted in the second round, 41st overall, by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2005, he stayed with the team as they became the Winnipeg Jets in 2011, and played his final season with the New York Rangers. During the 2012–13 NHL lockout, Pavelec played for Bílí Tygři Liberec of the Czech Extraliga (ELH) and Pelicans of the Finnish SM-liiga.
Noora Helena Räty is a Finnish ice hockey goaltender and the goaltending coach of Shenzhen KRS in the Chinese Women's Ice Hockey League. She was a founding board member of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) and was a member of the board affiliated with the Minnesota chapter of the organization until signing a Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) contract with the Metropolitan Riveters in May 2023.

Martin Jones is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League. He previously played for the Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Seattle Kraken. A standout goaltender in junior with the Calgary Hitmen, Jones was named the Western Hockey League's goaltender of the year in 2009–10 and won a silver medal with Team Canada at the 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
